'Burying Our Weapons of Rebellion' Elder D. Todd Christofferson
"May we bury, very, very deep, any element of rebellion against God in our lives and replace it with a willing heart and a willing mind."

Today was a busy day. I'm grateful I felt better than I did this weekend.

James is pouring concrete at the Hipps's this morning. I had an appointment at Goodman's Dental. My new upper teeth are here!
I thought we would do the impressions for my temps on my bottom teeth and finish filling cavities. Instead Pierce pulled out the temps and put in the new crowns and veneers. It took over two hours. It is not an easy process. My top teeth look beautiful, especially compared to my bottom teeth. Pierce said those would be taken care of on Thursday.

After my appointment I went home and made some honey-lime marinade for a couple of chicken breasts, then took a nap before getting ready for the temple.

I left for Snowflake at 2:06, arriving at the temple at 3. I am meeting my friend Ruth Gale for the 3:30 endowment session. I have no appointment and it says online that the session is full. I was early and easily got a seat and saved one for Ruth who came in about five minutes before the session began. As I sat down someone tapped me on the shoulder. It was one of the sisters behind me. She said: "You look so pretty. I love your hair." How sweet, thank you.

I was so happy to see Ruth when she came in. She is such a dear friend. I love the new endowment session. It is about fifteen or twenty minutes shorter than is use to be and is just as informative.

Ruth and I went to Eva's for dinner. I ordered the #10 plate, two cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. Ruth ordered a taco salad with no shell. I only ate about half of my food. I took the rest home for tomorrow's lunch.

I got home around 7 p.m., which means I was gone 5 hours. James was anxious to get my phone so he could walk. I was anxious to change my clothes and settle down in my comfy chair to watch "Dancing with the Stars."

Tonight was metal hair night and Gene Simmons from Kiss was one of the judges. He was awful and quite inappropriate. Not my favorite episode. I hope they never do it again. Thank goodness the two guys who can't dance went home, Eric Roberts and Reginald VelJohnson.
