James had a difficult day at work.  He shared with me all of his mishaps but made me promise I would not share them online. Suffice it to say some of them were quite serious. I think he gets in a hurry and then he makes mistakes.

I listened to Inklings this morning. Today is the last lesson on this past six months conference talks. Today we did what Emily calls 'sprinklings.' My sprinklings are a sentence for each week of the study from each talk. Here are my sprinklings for this six month study based on President Nelson's talk, "Rejoice in the Gift of Priesthood Keys."
Week 1  What do priesthood keys mean to me personally? Covenants with God.
Week 2  Am I a good promise keeper? Give an offering that costs something.
Week 3  I will speak truth and build up those around me.
Week 4  My trust in Him grows stronger when I am willing to be stretched, secure in my faith in Him.
Week 5  This is an urgent matter.
Week 6  We embark on a sacred journey of learning to become higher & holier disciples of Jesus Christ.
Week 7  Ordinances increase privileges.
Week 8  Spiritual giants do the small and simple things.
Week 9  For me, keeping a clear spiritual vision is all about focusing on Jesus Christ.
Week 10  We must immerse ourselves in the glorious light of the Restoration.
Week 11  All things are possible to those that believe & have made covenants.
Week 12  Our faith in Jesus Christ needs to be nourished daily. The Savior's job is to heal. Our job is to love.
Week 13  My pains and trials draw me closer to the Lord and refine me.
Week 14  God is in relentless pursuit of you and me.
Week 15  If ye are not one, ye are not mine.
Week 16  My heart and mind are lifted upward to the Lord and outward to my neighbor.
Week 17  Protect the private times of your life.
Week 18  I pray to know what He wants me to know.
Week 19  True lasting joy comes through following Jesus Christ.
Week 20  I want my life to be a symbol of my love and gratitude for Jesus Christ.
Week 21  I am a covenant keeper. I live my life consistent with the covenants I make.
Week 22  God is our Heavenly Father, we are His children, and Jesus Christ is our Savior.
Week 23  The testimony of Jesus is the witness of the Holy Spirit that He is the Divine Son of God.
Week 24  The nature of God is to bring all things together for our good.

I feel like I am a little better prepared for conference. Emily also read promises President Nelson made at the end of the April conference regarding attending the temple.

James  had to borrow Pierce's big truck and trailer to haul rock for the job at Hipps's. James made three trips to town today. First to get steel to reinforce the pad for concrete, to get rock, and to go with me to pick up his Tramadol prescription, some groceries, and to get something to eat.

We stopped at McDonald's and KFC for something to eat after shopping at Walmart.

After we arrived at home and put the groceries away I fed Tom and gave him his "treat." It was around 6 pm. He ate and turned around and went back outside and we never saw him again tonight. Usually he spends the night in the house, but not tonight.

I started a new book, "To Win a Lady's Heart" by Sian Ann Bessey.
Parts of it sound familiar and I'm thinking we may have read it before. James finished reading the book, "A Proper Facade." I also watched  PureFlix movie, "Finding Faith." A great movie.
