"The Peace of Christ Abolishes Enmity"
Elder Dale G. Renlund
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
When love of Christ envelops our lives, we approach disagreements with meekness, patience, and kindness.
"A House of Sequential Order"
Elder Vaiangina Sikahema
Of the Seventy
"Sequential order" is a simple, natural, and effective way for the Lord to teach us, as His children, important principles.
#8
We gladly declare that the promised Restoration goes forward through continuing revelation. The earth will never again be the same, as God will "gather together in one all things in Christ" (Ephesians 1:10).
Inklings
The Church of Jesus Christ is under divine mandate to care for the poor.
James left before 8 o'clock to go to work at DaCroix's. All along I thought the last name was LaCroix. Now I find out it is DaCroix. I think I like LaCroix better. Before he leaves to go he brings me a bowl of oatmeal with a side of blueberries and raspberries. Thanks honey. We have prayer together before he leaves. I am now home alone. Darrel, Trina, Ruby, and Lola all went to Marana to see Addy run in her cross country meet. They left at 4:30 this morning. Rowan is at football practice. He gets home before Sheri comes to pick me up at 10. We are going to The Great Gadsby Bakery in Gilbert. One of the family members is from England and makes English baked goods. There was a line which Sheri says there almost always is, but it wasn't too long. I ordered four cinnamon rolls, a fruit and cream eclair, a mini lime pie, a chocolate chip cookie for Trina, and a strawberry pop tart for Rowan. Sheri got four cinnamon rolls, a mini lime pie, and a million dollar bar. The million dollar bar was a shortbread base with caramel and chocolate and was delicious. I was wishing I had ordered one. My fruit and cream eclair was good, but I think I like custard eclair with chocolate frosting a little better. I took the cinnamon rolls and other treats home to Darrel & Trina's. Of course Addy didn't want anything. Rowan took the pop tart, Trina took the cookie and I heated up cinnamon rolls for Lola and Ruby.
After treat time I went with Trina, Addy, and Ruby to the Desert Garden Boutique where ShopWhirlyGirl has a booth set up. The boutique was inside and outside a house on Higley Rd. Here are some photos I took:

We got back to Darrel & Trina's the same time James arrived back from his work. We got ready and said our goodbye's and left for home. I'm so glad we stayed here because we had not seen everyone for awhile. It was fun. I took some pictures around their house:

On the way home we stopped at a Subway. I prefer Jersey Mike's but James loves Subway's tuna sub. It was a beautiful day today here in the valley of the sun but I'm glad to be going home. We listened to "The Heart of the Lonely Matchmaker" as much as we could get it on the way home. We arrive at home at 6 p.m. After bringing everything in and putting it away I turn on "Autumn Stables" and while James and I watch it, I walk around the couch until I get my 10,000 steps. We were in bed by 10:30.
