Jesus Christ, Prophecies about
D&C 130:14
I was once praying very earnestly to know the time of the coming of the Son of Man, when I heard a voice repeat the following:
Book of Mormon
Alma 60:14-28

"Come Follow Me"
97:18-28 Zion is "the pure in heart"

As we nurture and prepare our children, we allow for their agency, we love them with all our heart, we teach them God's commandments and His gift of repentance, and we never, ever, give up on them. After all, isn't this the Lord's way with each of us?
Let us "press forward with a steadfastness in Christ," knowing that we can have "a perfect brightness of hope" through our loving Savior.
I testify that He is always the answer.

Restoration Proclamation
#8
We gladly declare that the promised Restoration goes forward through continuing revelation. The earth will never again be the same, as God will "gather together in one all things in Christ" (Ephesians 1:10).

James hurt his ribs again. He was getting out of the Cat and lifted the gearbox, which weighs 100 lbs. and felt a sharp pain in his ribs. They really haven't been bothering him recently because he thinks they did a lot of healing while he was down with Covid. Also , it's been 9 1/2 months since he fractured them.

Roe vs. Wade was overturned in Texas. Can this really be? I wish Arizona would do the same.

Rowan is playing a tackle football game in Payson tonight. Trina is worried he is going to get hurt so I prayed for his protection.

James had to go into town twice today. First he had to get a shot before they would do his bone density test. He has to wait three hours after getting the shot before doing the bone density test.

Came home to discover that Luna was in the grass again. This time she may have gotten in where the fence is down. He also fixed us some lunch, took a short nap and then went back to town.

The attendant who did the bone density test told James he had two cracked ribs in the back. That would explain all of the pain he has been in.

I am determine to finish blogging through last Sunday today. I alternate blogging with watching "The Great British Baking Show" on the TV in the family room until I realize I can watch it on my phone while blogging. What a great idea!

I told James when he got home that I was hungry for a snack watching this show where they keep baking desserts. He went out into the garage and brought me back a cherry Dilly bar! What a thoughtful thing to buy for me! He came walked while we listened to "Song for Salzburg", which we finished. I think James liked it as much or more than I did.

James is going to the valley tomorrow to work at LaCroix's and will be leaving before five in the morning. I so wanted to go to Rowan's game, in Payson at six, but James didn't want to get back late and then get up early in the morning to leave, so we did not go. Rowan's team won 20-8. I asked Rowan if he made any touchdowns but he said no because he never got the ball. He seemed like he was disappointed.

I texted Sister Elmer, the co-ordinator on my temple shift, and asked her to re-send me the list of possible substitutes. This was her response: Brett and I have you covered. You two take care of each other. We miss you. Yay! We sure do love the Elmer's!
