'Defending Our Divinely Inspired Constitution'
President Dallin H. Oaks
First Counselor in the First Presidency
A constitution is the foundation of government. It provides structure and limits for the exercise of government powers. The United States Constitution is the oldest written constitution still in force today. Though originally adopted by only a small number of colonies, it soon became a model worldwide. Today, every nations except three have adopted written constitutions.

The Living Christ
P4
We solemnly testify that His life, which is central to all human history, neither began in Bethlehem nor concluded on Calvary. He was the Firstborn of the Father, the Only Begotten Son in the flesh, the Redeemer of the world.

Inklings
In each ward and branch we need everyone those who may be strong and those who are perhaps struggling. All are necessary to the vital edification of the entire "Body of Christ."

Family Memory
I remember Dallin coming down to help Grandpa lay the wood floor
at Cathi & Terry's and again at our house. He came with me to the nursery and then helped me plant the flowers we bought. Dallin loved to work when he was young.

I finished the movie I was watching on YouTube, "Cowgirls and Angels". It's about horses and a little girl finding her dad and her place in the world starring Bailee Madison and Alicia Witt. I really liked it.

I listened to an hour of "Unshaken" out of three hours. Brother Halverson is very thorough. I also listened and watched Dave and Emily on "Don't Miss This". They did an excellent job this week talking about the "Feast of Fat Things" or the supper of the marriage of the Lamb and what it takes to be a Zion person all based on scriptures from D&C 58 and 59. Here is a list of things mentioned:
58:26-29 Anxiously engaged in a good cause. 58:42-43 Repent, forsake and apologize 58:45-46 Gather and preach 59:1 Eye single to the glory of God 59:5 Love God  59:6 Love thy neighbor 59:7 Live in gratitude 59:8 Sacrifice for each other 59:9 Reconnect with God
59:10 Rest, pay thy devotions to God 59:15 Be cheerful 59:23 Peaceful 59:20 moderation in all things.

Here is an update on Sister Freeman, our friend who was in a serious car accident when she had a seizure and ran off the road into the trees. She had a punctured lung, 9 broken ribs, 2 broken legs, a broken foot and a broken arm. She has had surgery on her lung. She will have several surgeries in order to try to put all of her broken bones back together. We are still praying for her.

We have two members of our family who are learning how to become welders. Tanner is working for his uncle Mohammed and Jared Ammon is working for his uncle Darren. I hope Tanner will finish school in spite of learning how to weld, and I am so grateful that Jared Ammon is out of the bar!

At 3:00 this afternoon James and I left for town. Here is our plan. Shop and pick up prescriptions from Walmart. James needs to go to Home Depot and Tractor Supply. Tractor Supply to get horse feed. We stopped at Taco Bell for some nourishment and then we drove across town to the Little League field to watch Benson's baseball game. Cammy and all of the kids were there too. Thomas is one of the coaches so he was out on the field. Tildy, Emsley, and Leland came over to say hi as did Liana. Cammy's neighbors had come to the game too so she was sitting by them. Emsley sat by us the entire time. When the neighbors left Cammy and Malea and Tildy came over too. The game was tied 5 to 5 and it was the bottom of the last inning. Benson came up to bat. He got hit by the ball so he got on base. He stole 2nd and 3rd and then he stole home to make the score 6-5 and the umpire calls the game. Benson is the hero! It was a great game to come to. The sky was overcast and there was only a slight breeze. It was perfect. I love visiting with Emsley so much. Cammy had told me she wanted ballet shoes for Christmas so I asked her about them and I asked if she was going to take ballet lessons. She said, no she wasn't going to take dance lessons because she didn't like other people telling her what to do when she dances because she just likes to dance however she wants. She said Tildy pretends to be her teacher and asks her to do stuff she can't do and she tells her, "Tildy, I can't dance like you."

I asked Liana about the fundraiser dinner for girls camp which was held Friday night. She said they made $3,000. After the dinner they always have a dessert auction. A batch of Cammy's cinnamon rolls sold for $150. What a success!

We stopped at Safeway on the way home to get perishable items we didn't get at Walmart. Cammy stopped too because Safeway has London broil on sale for $2.97 a lb. She got several earlier and four more tonight. She is making jerky. I got a couple and when we got home James and I sealed them with our food sealer and put them in the freezer. I looked up some recipes and realize that London broil is round steak and needs to be marinated to tenderize it. I found a recipe that says, the best London broil you will ever taste. Some time this summer when we have company I want to make some London broil.

At home after putting our purchases away I walked and indexed. James just indexed because he already had his steps.
