The Articles of Faith
#13
We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul - We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

A nice sun shiny day to help "dry out" the affects of yesterday's rain. Sheri, Max, Evan, and Joshua are coming this afternoon. Ian is staying home with the dogs.

I spent the morning working on my blog and running off conference talks. The conference talks are now on the Churches website and the gospel library app.

James worked on indexing and then went outside to work for awhile. He is trying to put water pipe under the sidewalk. We were supposed to start putting sheets on beds at 2:00 but James did it early for me. He also brought the blankets I bought in and put them downstairs in the storage room.

Sheri and the boys got here around 4 p.m. Sheri and I went into town to get groceries at Walmart. I drove my car because Sheri was tired of driving. After shopping at Walmart we stopped at Little Caesar's for pizza at Max's request.  I gave Sheri $10 because I wanted to get a cheese pizza along with the two pepperoni she was getting and the two orders of crazy bread. The cheese pizza is for James and I because no one else will want it.

After putting the groceries away and eating pizza for dinner, Sheri and I began watching this week's episode of "Dancing with the Stars." At 8 p.m. Sheri said, "I need to go to bed because I am falling asleep" so we turned the TV off.

James and I went to bed around 10:30.

The Articles of Faith
#12
We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.

James brought in all of my "shopping treasures" in the back of Sheri's car before she left to take her car to get the windshield fixed
this morning. I worried about getting this done most of the night.

It is raining in the valley today. James tried to contact Max but I think Max just slept through the calls.

I had key lime pie for breakfast. I finished Friday's blog entry. James called as I was working on my computer at the end of Sheri's dining room table. He said there was lightning and thunder all around where he was working on a metal ladder and he didn't feel safe so he was coming back. He asked me to get ready before he got there, which I did.

Ian had taken Evan to the orthodontist this morning so I asked Evan how his appointment went. He said they tightened his braces and it hurt. I sympathized and said wouldn't it be nice if we never had to have braces. Evan said that Joshua was lucky because his teeth were straight and he didn't have to have braces.

James and I were both hungry when we left Sheri's. James said we would stop at Culver's in Payson which didn't sound that great to me. As we were driving north on the 101 approaching the Baseline/Southern exit I mention Whataburger. James got off the freeway and we drove north to Broadway and Dobson to the Whataburger we have been to many times. It was 2 o'clock in the afternoon and there were four or five cars in line. Late lunchers just like us. We both ordered a Whataburger Jr. We wished we had ordered a regular because these juniors seemed awfully small. While waiting in line we listened to our book, "The Lady and the Highwayman."

James stopped at Speedway in Payson for gas and the necessary. While inside he got a gas station chicken salad sandwich. He wanted tuna but they were out. He must really be hungry!

Before we got to Payson we saw two wrecked semi trucks off the road. I guess they were having trouble driving on the wet highway.

As we left Payson and climbed the hill for Heber it was raining and the sky was black for as far as I could see ahead of us. Stacy texted me and said there was a tornado warning for Navajo county. Denise, my sister-in-law posted this on Facebook:

We passed through Linden shortly after this. Although it was raining, we did not see a tornado or the remains of one. It never touched ground.

It rained on us all the way home and was still raining when we drove into our driveway. We got a little wet going in. After putting all my stuff away except for the blankets I bought which are still in James's truck, I turned on "DWTS" and walked. I only got 6,000 steps today.
