Jesus Christ, Messiah
1 Nephi 15:13
And now, the thing which our father meaneth concerning the grafting in of the natural branches through the fulness of the Gentiles, is, that in the latter days, when our seed shall have dwindled in unbelief, yea, for the space of many years, and many generations after the Messiah shall be manifested in body unto the children of men, then shall the fulness of the gospel of the Messiah come unto the Gentiles, and from the Gentiles unto the remnant of our seed-

'Waiting on the Lord'
Elder Jeffrey R. Holland
Faith means trusting God in good times and bad, even if that includes some suffering until we see His arm revealed in our behalf.

'A New Normal'
President Russell M. Nelson
I invite you to turn your heart, mind, and soul increasingly to our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Restoration Proclamation
P3 S1
In humility, we declare that in answer to his prayer, God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, appeared to Joseph and inaugurated the "restitution of all things" (Acts 3:21) as foretold in the Bible.

Another beautiful day with the high in the mid to high 60's. James and I went to Dollar General this morning to get the rest of the things I need to make dirt cups and worms for the Grapp family. I also got an card for Trenda whose baby shower is next week. On the way home we stopped by to see Tanna and give her a loaf of pumpkin bread. I told her about the Halloween Party this afternoon/evening at the Vernon park. She seemed interested so I sent her the flyer and information.

This afternoon I made dirt cups with worms. The Grapp's are coming over this evening trick-or-treating and these will be their treats. They said they would be here somewhere between 4-6 but it was after six when they finally got here.

Tildy was a piano and played a song on my piano for me, Benson was the headless horseman, Emsley a Christmas present, and Liana was Pippy Longstockings
Leland was a cowboy but he left his hat
in the car.

They loved the dirt cups with worms, especially the worms.

When I realized they didn't have dinner I was
wishing I would have made these to go along with the treats.

The Grapp's were our only trick-or-treaters. We did not go to the Vernon party but I got lots of pictures. Also loved the pictures of Charlie going trick-or-treating.

We had pot pies for dinner and then watched a new Hallmark movie, "One Royal Holiday." Happy Halloween everyone!

Jesus Christ, Messiah
1 Nephi 10:4
Yea, even six hundred years from the time that my father left Jerusalem, a prophet would the Lord God raise up among the Jews - even a Messiah, or, in other words, a Savior of the world.

'Enduring Power'
Elder Kelly R. Johnson
Only faith and the word of God that fill our inner soul are
sufficient to sustain us - and to allow us to access His power.

Restoration Proclamation
P2 S2
He had questions regarding the salvation of his soul and trusted that God would direct him.

Paid bills this morning. Two credit cards and our mortgage payment are due on the first of the month. Easy come, easy go.

I made an appointment with Barnett, Delaney, Perkins to get the process going for my cataract surgery. Since they have never seen me as a patient, although they did get a referral from Chandler Eyecare, they want to do an examine before scheduling the surgery. My appointment for this is on December 1st.

It looks like I may be going to the valley next week so Stacy can do my lashes again. James is going down either Wednesday or Thursday and I will be going down too.

I made a trip to town today. My first stop was at CVS. James got a notice that his prescription was ready. I waited in line for 20-30 minutes only for the girl to tell me that it would take another 30 minutes to fill the prescription. I was so upset I just drove off. I did my shopping at Walmart and then went back to CVS when I was finished. I had to wait in line another 30 minutes but thank goodness the prescription was ready this time. I felt like punching someone when I left that place. I was one hour late for my appointment with Catherine Halcomb.

When I got to Catherine's she and Kerri both said they had similar experiences with CVS. Catherine said she would get a notice her insulin was ready and then when she got there they would say they were out of insulin. The same think happened with Kerri's kidney medication. They said they both use Walmart now and would never go back to CVS. By the way, Kerri told us the other night that she is now on the list to get a kidney transplant.

After my visit with the Halcomb's I came home and put my groceries away and walked while watching an old Christmas movie, "Pride, Prejudice, and Mistletoe" starring Lacey Chabert and Brendan Penny.

James worked outside most of the day and when he came in this evening he said his leg hurt. This is the leg with the metal rod inside. He said it felt like maybe a screw had slipped out. He needs to go get it x-rayed to see what's going on.

I ordered four pies for Thanksgiving dinner. The Show Low Wrestling team sells them every year. They are pies from Village Inn restaurant. I bought mine from Curtis Wilhelm.

This is Emily Belle Freeman's grandma Belle's list of best things
she loved to do. After her husband died she could barely get out of bed in the morning. She decided she would make a list of things she loved to do and that would help her to get back on her feet. This is her list.

'Do Justly, Love Mercy, And Walk Humbly with God'

 Elder Dale G. Renlund
To do justly means acting honorably. We act honorably with God by walking humbly with Him. We act honorably with others by loving mercy.

 Restoration Proclamation
Two hundred years ago, on a beautiful spring morning in 1820, young Joseph Smith, seeking to know which church to join, went into the woods to pray near his home in upstate New York, USA.

I downloaded a quiche cookbook onto my computer this morning. The first recipe I am going to try is a hashbrown quiche. It's a way to eat eggs when I don't like them very well.

As I was sorting through the pile of mail on my desk today I found two envelopes from Auto-Owners Insurance company. There was a check in each envelope. One was for $390.50 and the other was for $9, 184.94. These are the checks James has been waiting for. Normally I would have given these envelopes to James so I don't understand how they ended up on my desk. Oh well, we are excited to have our payoff.

I did two blog posts today. Eventually I will be caught up, which will be nice. I have appointments to see Tanna and Catherine tomorrow so today I made two more loaves of pumpkin bread. This time I got the eggs to room temperature, added extra water for high altitude, and baked them in glass pans instead of the aluminum toss out pans. I baked them longer and they turned out beautifully, no hole in the middle. The only problem I had was getting one of the loaves out of the pan. Part of it stuck so I had to stick it back onto the bottom of the loaf.

I worked on my general conference notebook today and listened to Inklings Institute with Emily and Rio. I also watched "Homestead Christmas" an older Hallmark move, and drank hot cocoa.

I read from "Key Lime Pie" with James and listened to Dr. Scott Atlas on the internet per James's request. He thinks we are getting lots of false information regarding Covid-19 and thinks it is a big mistake to close schools. Interesting.
