Buenos Aires, Argentine
39th operating temple

2 Nephi 24:1-32
Babylon will be destroyed.  What kinds of rest do you think Israel will experience in the millennium?
Alma 13-14:12
13- Men are called as high priests because of their exceeding faith and good works - They are to teach the commandments - Through righteousness they are sanctified and enter into the rest of the Lord - Melchizedek was one of these - Angels are declaring glad tidings throughout the land - They will declare the actual coming of Christ.
14 - Alma and Amulek are imprisoned and smitten - The believers and their holy scriptures are burned by fire - These martyrs are received by the Lord in glory - The Prison walls are rent and fall - Alma and Amulek are delivered, and their persecutors are slain.
DC 36-37:4
How has receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost helped me?
Talk: "The Holy Ghost As Your Companion
By: President Henry B. Eyring
October 2015
General Conference
The Master Healer
Carole M. Stephens

"Hope and healing are not found in the dark abyss of secrecy but in the light and love of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  Complete healing will come through your faith in Jesus Christ and His power and capacity, through His Atonement, to heal the scars of that which is unjust and undeserved.  Rely on the endowment of power made available to each of us through ordinances and covenants.  Allow the healing power of the Savior and His Atonement into your life."

James made me oatmeal for breakfast and drove me to my appointment.  We stopped at Chandler Eyecare on the way.  Sheri fixed my glass frames for me and also ordered me some new lenses because she said the ones I am using are scratched.

When I got to Dr. Shah's office I asked for the nitrous oxide and the girl at the desk just added it to my bill.  Having this tooth extracted was one of the weirdest experiences of my life; pounding, pressure, and drilling and oh what a trip those drugs put me on for a few minutes.  Thank goodness that afterwards I did not experience alot of pain.  I thin the nitrous oxide gas helped to relax me.  On the way home we stopped at Boston Market and got me some soft foods.  Mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and mashed sweet potatoes.

James is really taking care of me.  After lunch he went shopping at Walmart and got me some Jello, and Dr. Pepper 10's.  He sacrifices so much to serve me and I am very grateful.

This afternoon James needed the car for something so Cathi took me to Hobby Lobby in her car.  She needed a Hobby Lobby fix too.

I bought this to put fruit in with my 40% off coupon

Cathi made shadow boxes for Christmas.  I think I want to do that next year for my kids so we went and looked at all the miniatures.  Here are some of the things I saw that I liked:

This one for Ruby to go with the one she already has.

This evening James and I talked with Cathi and Terry, mostly Cathi, about our will, who should be our executor, and burial and funeral insurance.  James and I have a lot of planning to do.

James and I went to Kneader's for some soup for me for dinner.
Kilee came over to talk with Cathi so James and I went into the bedroom to read.

Idaho Falls Temple
Kim, Brian, Joe, Michael, and Alex stopped by Disneyland for a few hours before coming back home.  I guess Brian and Kim have season passes.

I still hurt a ton and have the blahs.  Tiffany at AARA says six aspirin a day is too many for me to take and she wants me to take Tylenol instead.  While I was "napping" Dave came over to help James with the lights downstairs.  I didn't know Laura came with him and totally missed visiting with her. I hate not feeling well!  Dallin was here with his guitar and he sang to her.

The battery in my car died today.  James had to walk home from Winco, and then go get a new battery.
We got a thank you note from Emmy today that went something like this:
Dear Grandma and Grandpa,
Thank you so much for giving me money when you didn't have to.  You really made my day.  Thank you thank you, and thank you!!!
I can't express how grateful I am!!!

This is a scene on the road from Show Low to Vernon.  The places where they cleared trees is now covered with Verbina.
For some reason I can't enlarge pictures on
Blogger today.
James and I finished "Maid of Fairbourne Hall" and luckily our next book came today.  It's by the same author, Julie Klassen, and is called, "The Girl in the Gatehouse."

For dinner James got me bbq pork from, green beans and mashed potatoes from Boston Market.  For some reason it didn't look good to me and I put it in the frig for another day and made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

So sweet, yet very sad.

James and Bob put trim on the outside of this door this morning before 7am.  Lots of pounding.  Poor Dallin and Michael.

Where's the window?
I had an appointment for my arthritis today.  Thank goodness!
Dr. Caldron and Tiffany consulted together and decided I needed to continue on the Remicade, 8 methotrexate, and they added Tramadol for pain because they said it is less harsh on organs than Ibuprofen or aspirin. They think some of my pain is caused from previous flare-up and probably from some osteoarthritis.

It took two hours after seeing the doctor for my infusion so I was there for a total of 3 hours.

I drove back to Chandler and went to Jersey Mike's for lunch with James and Dallin.

At 2pm I drove to Darrel's to watch Lola while he had a meeting at Fry's.  She was asleep when I first got there and when she woke up and saw me she seemed puzzled and surprised.  We got along fine and when the kids got home from school she was very happy to see them.  Rowan wanted me to play chess with him.
Rowan told me I could go first but I told him I couldn't remember how to play.  Ruby was giving me instructions.  Thank goodness Darrel came home before we could actually play.

Back in Chandler James, Seth, Alex, and Ben finished cleaning up most of the mess from the storage shed.  Brent and his assistant are still working on the sprinkler system.  At least we are making some progress.

I  had a pulled pork sandwich from Boston Market for dinner.  It was quite tasty.  For FHE we listened to Elder Renlund's conference address: "Latter-day Saints Keep on Trying."  We both enjoyed it.  He has a very soothing voice.

I felt good when I went to bed this evening.  Here is hoping it lasts.
