O Lord, I have trusted in thee, and I will trust in thee forever. I will not put my trust in the arm of flesh; for I know that cursed is he that putteth his trust in the armof flesh, Yea, cursed is he that putteth his trust in man or maketh flesh his arm.

Jared Ammon helped James outside until about 11:30 at which time he borrowed the truck to go in to town to pay his phone bill. He returned before we left for Uriah Miller's baptism. I teased him saying, "what, no accidents?" He was walking downstairs with his backpack on. He stopped and said, "No, actually I'm a very good driver." I said, "I know you are, I was just joking." That was the last time I saw Jared until Monday morning.

We got to the church just as the baptismal program was starting. Uriah Miller is Wesley and Anne Miller's youngest son. Wes was our Bishop. He and his family bought a ranch and moved to Kansas almost three years ago. Bishop Miller is here for an archery elk hunt and since they have so much family in the area they decided to have Uriah, who just turned 8, baptized while they were here.

The room was packed when we got there and we had to set up our own chairs in the back. There were lots of ward members and lots of family. Brother Allen conducted the meeting. The grampas gave the talks and of course Uriah's dad baptized him. For the confirmation all of the Melchizedek priesthood holders were invited up. I believe there were at least a dozen, including James.

After the baptism was over James and I both went up to talk to Andyn who is now 14. She was in my Primary class and also James's. She seems so grown up. She loves it in Kansas but she says they are in the middle of a drought. We know what that is like I told her.

We went into the kitchen and got some cookies and milk and gave Anne a hug and spoke with her a few minutes. We absolutely love this family!

Jared Ammon called while we were here and we called him back on the way home. He was riding the Razr up on the hill and he got a flat tire. James told him if the rim wasn't touching the ground to drive it home, which he did.

When Jared got home, instead of going outside to help James he went downstairs to take a nap. He got up around 8, I was in the bedroom working on my lesson, and apologized to James saying he was extremely tired and then went back to bed.

We went to bed a little after 9 because I wanted to get up at 4 to finish working on my lesson. While we were in bed James had a coughing spell and it was after ten before we went to sleep.
