"Trusting the Doctrine of Christ" by Elder Evan A. Schmutz
It was a beautiful, cool morning. James even put on his jacket. Jared started around 5:30 because it was still dark at 5. JA worked on the deck and James worked on the tree. I fixed breakfast and it was ready a little after 8. I made Jared a cheese omelet and James a fried egg and ham. I also cooked some bacon and hashbrown.
I just keep thinking about sweet little Charlie singing the songs from "The Little Mermaid" and how she knew all of the words. She is such a smart little girl!
I watched a couple of movies today while I was working in my bedroom and walking. The first one was one I had seen before, "The Wedding Veil: Inspiration." Autumn Reeser played the main character in this one and she is my favorite.
The other movie was the sequel to a movie I watched this week, "Big Sky River." This one was called "Big Sky River: The Bridal Path."
I loved it.
JA didn't stop working today to take a nap because the weather was so nice. After lunch and after James went to the dump, he and I went into town on our "Saturday" date. He dropped me off at Walmart so I could do some grocery shopping while he went across the street to Circle K to wash my car and get some gas. He also made a quick stop at Lowe's. When he got back to Walmart he picked up my prescription and met me at the registers. We did the scan and go with him scanning and me bagging the groceries.
While shopping at Walmart I got a text from my friend Sue:
Tabitha has left this mortal world and is at peace and free of pain, being caressed by our Heavenly Father.
Me: Thank you Sue for letting me know. May the Lord bless you and your family.
Before going home we stopped at Firehouse to get subs for James and JA. I'm not eating because it is after 3.
While we were gone in to town Jared rode Luna around the perimeter of our field. He said she behaved herself very well but she seemed really tired when they returned. She is out of shape. We are grateful to Jared for helping her get some exercise.
James was in the dining room indexing and I was in the bedroom walking and blogging and watching a new Hallmark movie, "A Safari Romance", when James came in and asked if we could walk and listen to our book. I was a little annoyed because we had read several chapters going to and from town and I wanted to watch my movie but obviously he didn't. We listened to a couple of chapters and then it was time for bed. James is exhausted and both of his thumbs hurt. After prayer he went to bed and I took a shower and then joined him. A beautiful day but we had no rain.
Bridget Jordan made one for Teresa Smith who had hip replacement surgery and Charlotte South who broke her pelvis.
