Jesus Christ, Types of, in Memory
D&C 27:2
For, behold, I say unto you, that it mattereth not what ye shall eat or what ye shall drink when ye partake of the sacrament, if it so be that ye do it with an eye single to my glory - remembering unto the Father my body which was laid down for you, and my blood which was shed for the remission of your sins.

My Mind Caught Hold upon This Thought of Jesus Christ" by Elder Neil L. Andersen
James and I went to town this morning. Our first stop was a donation at Goodwill and then we went on to Christopher Gardens in Lakeside to get grass seed. While James was buying the grass seed I was looking at the trees, plants, and flowers. I was taking a picture of some flowers when the owner, I guess his name is Christopher, cut the flower off and gave it to me. What a nice gesture. I should have asked him what kind of flower it was.
While I was at Walmart James was picking up the piece of paneling he ordered to replace the piece on the back of our house that Greg Anderson put his foot through while helping James remove the tree.
When James picked me up later he was quite upset because the piece they ordered didn't look like the sample and won't match the paneling on our house. It's not the right color.
We stopped at Taco Bell and I got a couple of tacos. On the way home we listened to "The Kiss of a Stranger."
We left Jared Ammon at home to work. He also rode Luna 2x.
We got clouds and wind but no rain today. What about the sunflowers?
Jared and JA moved the couch on the deck to make room for the table with the padded chairs. There are only two good chairs left. The other two chairs legs rusted and broke off. The table is near the two hummingbird feeders. We have had so many hummingbirds this year. Sometimes it feels like we are being attacked by dive bombers.
I bought 3 bags of sugar to accommodate the little birds.
James says he is almost ready to plant the grass, he just has to adjust the sprinklers. As he was adjusting them he discovered a leak which will probably set him back a few days until the leak is discovered.
I came out of my cave this evening and made some more chicken tacos for dinner. I had enough tortillas to make nine. Jared ate six, James ate one, I ate one and there is one left. They were very delicious, one of my favorite meals.
I started my new puzzle that Kim gave me. It is a Springbok puzzle and is called Snack Treats.
I listened to the Inklings that featured Elder Soares talk as part of my lesson preparation this week. It was quite good and I am going to use some of the things discussed in my lesson on Sunday.
