Jesus Christ, Prophecies about
Daniel 9:24
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Book of Mormon
Alma 24:7-18 What am I willing to bury? I will bury my pride. I will bury my desire for impulsive eating and spending. I will ask for and recognize the hand of the Lord in every detail of my life. I will become a more disciplined disciple.

Of the Seventy
As I've reflected upon these very sacred moments of my life, I have been overwhelmed with profound, enduring joy. I have felt and continue to feel the love of a compassionate Father in Heaven, who knows our individual needs and our heartfelt desires.

Learning
No matter how old we become, we can acquire knowledge and use it. We can gather wisdom and profit from it. We can grow and progress and improve, and, in the process, strengthen the lives of those within our circle of influence.

Inklings
"We are all infants compared to the beings of glory and grandeur we are designed to become. No mortal being advances from crawling to walking to running without frequent stumbles, bumps, and bruises. That is how we learn."

We left at 6:45 this morning for the valley. We had our scriptures and "Come Follow Me" in the car. We listened to "Talking Scripture" and then I read to James from our book, "Love on Pointe."

James dropped me off for my infusion at 10:00. James left the AARA and went straight down to Chandler Auto Body to pick up his truck. Afterwards he went over to Lake Park Village. He came back and picked me up around 11:30. We drove to Chandler Eyecare to see Sheri. She is taking us to lunch. We finally decided on Olive Garden, a place we all like and continue to come back to. Sheri and I had soup, salad and breadsticks and James had chicken marsala.

James drove me out to Darrel's. Darrel said his kids are ready to go and are pretty excited. I waited with the kids for James while he went out to a meeting about doing a patio cover for someone in Sun Lakes West.

I show Ruby and Lola videos of Tin Barn Farm where the Wilhelm boys are working with horses. Ruby tells me she wishes she could live in Vernon. We finally watch a movie on TV, "Yours, Mine, and Ours" starring Dennis Quaid and Rene Russo. It was a bit overboard but the kids liked it.

James didn't get back until 6 p.m. The first thing we did after saying goodbye to Darrel and leaving the house, is drive to Taco Bell for dinner. That was the kids' choice. We have Rowan, Ruby, and Lola. Addy is staying at home because of her job. We got home to Vernon around 9:30. It was so nice and cool and smelled like rain. Ruby and I both loved it. Rowan forgot his contacts, solution, toothbrush and toothpaste. We found some solution and I found some small containers to put his contacts in. I also gave him a new toothbrush and toothpaste. We have family prayer and go to bed because it is late.
