What if "even as I am" is exactly and precisely what is meant by the Savior? The what? What level of effort would we be willing to give to invite His miraculous power into our lives so that we can change our very nature?
'Eyes to See'
Sister Michelle D. Craig
First Counselor in the Young Women
There may be times why you find yourself struggling to see how God is working in your life - times when you feel under siege - when the trials of mortality bring you to your knees. Wait and trust in God and in His timing, because you can trust His heart with all of yours. My dear brothers and sisters, you can pray for the Lord to open your eyes to see things you would not normally see.

We affirm that under the direction of the Father and the Son, heavenly messengers came to instruct Joseph and re-establish the Church of Jesus Christ.
James unloaded the dishwasher this morning and the loaded the dirty dishes left in the sink into it. I really do appreciate the little things he does to help me out.
As I was working at my computer this morning I listened to Tyler and Taylor on Book of Mormon Central talk about the Savior's visit to the Nephites and how he was thoughtful of their needs and blessed them and lifted them and ministered to them when he saw that is what they needed.
James and Alex went into town this morning to look at trucks. James ended up buying one from Horne. It is a 2018 Silverado crew cab. He did not have his wallet with him so he called me to get my information off of my driver's license. I looked everywhere he told me to for his wallet but it was nowhere to be found. I looked in his pants that were in the dirty clothes. I only looked in the back pockets though. It must have been in the front pockets because later on Sheri found credit cards in the dryer and washer. At least he didn't lose his wallet and we don't have to get new credit cards.
James took it fishing on the Salt River with
Max, Alex, and Shayna.
I went with Sheri, Evan, and Joshua into Greer this afternoon. As we were driving from Vernon to Springerville I made the comment to Sheri that it looked like we were driving through the land of desolation. When we stopped in Greer at the creek, it was beautiful. I began walking one direction down the creek while Evan, Joshua, and Sheri, with the dogs, walked in the other direction. I came upon a deer on my walk. She was standing close by with her ears up looking at me. I stopped and tried to take a picture. I soon noticed her family in the background.

So pretty
On the way out of town, since the ice cream store is no longer there, we stopped at a shop to get some candy. I spent $16 on junk but I made the boys happy.
For dinner Ian cooked hamburgers and hot dogs inside because we are out of propane. Sheri made chicken tacos. Alex and Shayna had to go to Pinetop to pick up fishing permits for tomorrow. The placed closed at seven and Alex got there at 7:20. The nice lady inside made it happen for him even though everything was shut down.
I played Five Crowns with Joe, Ben, and Sheri. Ben won. I also watched "DWTS" with Sheri. We both loved Skai and Allen's foxtrot. They went to the top of the leader board with 28 points.
Ben shared his Mexican definitions with us during our Five Crowns game:
Mushroom - There's not very "mush room" in here.
Wheelchair - There's only one donut left, "wheel chair."
Charcoal - I can't go swimming cause the "char coal" get me.
Nascar - That's a "nas car."
July - Don't "july" to me.
He says he has about 30 but those were all he could remember.
Tonight was not a good night for Shayna. As Joshua tells the story, he was asleep on the couch and he heard Shayna yelling. I guess a bat was in her room with her and flew close to her head while she was in bed. Joe, Ben, and Joshua all came to the rescue. Joshua says they all had a weapon. He had a flyswatter, Joe had a garbage sack, and Ben had a fishing pole. Ben asked Joshua to leave because he didn't want him to get "bitten by the bat." How thoughtful. Joe left because he was freaked out by the bat flying around. Joshua says he could hear the fishing pole hitting the wall. Ben had the balcony door open and finally he came out and said the bat was gone. I think Shayna ended up sleeping in the recliner in the common area. Why did this have to happen to her with all of those boys up there? I'm glad Ben was there to help. I guess Alex slept through it.

We had smores by the fire. Max and Joe were
going to play their guitars but for some
reason they didn't. I was a little disappointed.
