 Happy Veteran's Day!

I am trying a new simpler roll recipe which only makes a dozen or so at a time.  My other recipe makes about five or six dozen and takes most of the day to make.   This recipe takes a little over an hour, and it is a good one if you are in a hurry for a dozen rolls.

I couldn't sleep this morning, so I got up at 4am and watched "Once Upon a Time."  It's a show that James doesn't really care for so I don't have to wait for him to watch it.

James worked on the road for awhile today and then we watched "The Mentalist."  The Red John suspects are down to three.  I don't think it's any of them, I think they are all accomplices.

I watched the finale of "Master Chef, Jr."  A thirteen year old boy from New York names Alexander won.  It is such a good show.  It is amazing to see these kids cook!

I also watched "The Voice" top 12 perform and then James and I watched a Christmas movie.

For FHE James worked on his talk on the two great commandments.

We woke up this morning to a snow storm which was quire a surprise. It didn't stop the youth from going to the temple.  I parked my car at the church and rode with Natalie Soderquist.  LeeAnn and Mary rode in the backseat. There was no snow in Snowflake but it was very cold.  We had six girls: LeeAnn and Kilee Hunsaker, Jordyn and Shelly Applegate, Trenda Wilhelm, and Mary Swift who all did baptisms and confirmations.  There were also six boys: Jace Applegate, Talon Wilhelm, Kendall and Westin Hall, Tyler Hunsaker, and Cy Westbrook. Bishop Hall baptized the girls and Sean Hunsaker the boys.  We had plenty of adult leaders with us: Bishop Hall, Brother Applegate, Brother Smith, Brothers Hunsaker, Diewald, Curtis, and Lauritzen and Sister Applegate along with Natalie Soderquist and myself.
As we were leaving the temple I saw Rita and Bill Solomon going in. They are temple workers.
After the temple we all went to El Cupidos for lunch. Their burros are delicious. I had the Big Jake.

That's Brother Smith on the left in his cowboy hat and beard enjoying his burro.

I came home to find James working on the talk he is giving in church next week. I put boxes away downstairs, made two recipes of hot fudge sauce, made chicken quesadillas for dinner, listened to my scriptures and some music on my phone and went to bed. James was still working on his talk when I went to bed.
