Cochabamba, Bolivia
82nd operating temple

2 Nephi 29:1-14
Many Gentiles will reject the Book of Mormon - They will say, We need no more Bible - The Lord speaks to many nations - He will judge the world out of the books which will be written.
How have these verses increased your appreciation for the Book of Mormon?
Alma 27:19-29
28 - The Lamanites are defeted in a tremendous battle - Tens of thousands are slain - The wicked are consigned to a state of endless woe; the righteous attain a neverending happiness. About 77-76 B.C.
29 - Alma desires to cry repentance with angelic zeal - The Lord grants teachers for all nations - Alma glories in the Lord's work and in the success of Ammon and his brethren.
DC 42:11-29
11-12, Elders must be called and ordained and are to teach the principles of the gospel found in the scriptures; 13-17, They are to teach and prophesy by the power of the Spirit; 18-29, The Saints are commanded not to kill, steal, lie, lust, commit adultery, or speak evil against others;
How has the Comforter taught you about the Father and His Son?

Look to the Book, Look to the Lord
Elder Gary E. Stevenson

The elk from last night were still here in the morning.  As the sun comes up they begin to leave.

James was going with youth to do baptisms but he wasn't needed.  It's a good thing because he forgot to take his temple bag to the Church.

Sheri and I went shopping at the Walmart in Taylor.  She bought all of my groceries because I bought food for her family this week.
While we were gone James found some time to study his lesson.

Notice the heater going full blast.

These three stayed up until 5 a.m. having a great
time playing games and building castles.

Too bad we didn't know this when we were at Walmart:

It's back!

For lunch James and I had New York dogs from Sonic.  We made grilled cheese sandwiches and cheese crisps for the boys and took Ian a Sonic cheeseburger.

Sheri worked on my new puzzle and I helped her for awhile but I am not the expert puzzle doer that she is.
James, Rowan, and Evan chopped and stacked wood, burned brush and while burning brush James almost burned himself when the Cat died in the fire.  After the work, James took the boys to chocolate lake, which is full, and to Buckelieu Falls which are running. The also saw elk and deer

For dinner Sheri made homemade macaroni and cheese and chicken tenders.  I tried a different chicken tender recipe and while I had them on broil the parchment paper caught on fire.  I should have known to take it out, but it didn't say I needed to so I didn't.  We had two fires today, one outside and one inside.  What a fun day this was!

Someone posted this on Facebook today and it brought back lots of memories.  My best friend in high school, Polly, lived her room was one of the motel rooms.  It was so fun to spend the night.  We would put up a glass to the wall to see if we could here anything in the room next to us.

3 Nephi 20:20-46
What does it mean: "Be ye clean that bear the vessels of the Lord"?
* Elder M. Russell Ballard counseled us: "To avoid evil talk, to choose your friends wisely, to stay away from pornography and illicit drugs, to not attend evil concerts and dangerous parties, to respect your bodies and keep yourselves morally clean in every way" (Ensign, May 2001 66).

GC:     O How Great the Plan of Our God! by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf
" In the Church of Jesus Christ, we have been given so much.  We are surrounded by such an astonishing wealth of light and truth that I wonder if we truly appreciate what we have."

James worked at the construction yard this morning while I stayed at Cathi's and worked on sending out the scripture message to Adam, Alex, Michael, Seth, Gail, Kim, Stacy, Sheri and James.
I also had a nice talk with Cathi.  She is such a dear friend and always has the best ideas and knows how to deal with problems and people.  I always feel better after I talk with her.

I also washed sheets and towels.  James came home and packed up my car for me and then left for home, pulling a trailer.  I left around 10 am.  I stopped at the Taco Bell and The Dollar Tree in Payson on the way home.

It was overcast when I got to Vernon and 54 degrees.  I always love returning home after being gone.

I love the clouds!

James helped me unload the car and carried all of the blankets I bought upstairs for me.  He was watching the Jeffrey R. Holland Teacher Counsel Meeting on the computer.  He stopped to help me and then went back to the broadcast.

After the broadcast, James sat by the fireplace to study his Sunday School lesson for tomorrow.
I love that he built a fire for me!
Search, ponder, and pray.

Before working on my Primary lesson I watched a Christmas movie, "Matchmaker Santa."

At 2:20 pm James and I started our fast for Jared.
After studying for a few hours James and I watched a movie together this evening, "The Mistletoe Promise."

I would love for James to build us a Hobbit Hole.
