I love the size of this tree!

"When we rationalize wrong choices, big or small, which are
inconsistent with the restored gospel, we lose the blessings and
protections we need and often become ensnared in sin or simply
lose our way."
-Elder Quentin L. Cook

Jared made bacon and pancakes for breakfast this morning.  Emmy and Molly played in the snow some more.  There was no television or music and the house was nice and quiet.  Emmy wrote a talk about Jesus loving the little children which she gave in Primary today.  Since I wasn't going to be at Primary to hear it, I listened to her give it this morning before we left for church.  Their meetings don't start until 12:30.

Jared got a call from the realtor around 10:30 saying she wanted to show the house in a couple of hours.  We cleaned up our mess and packed our stuff in the car while Jared and the kids cleaned up the rest of the house.  Jared and the girls were late for church.  We took James with us because he needed to be there early to help prepare the sacrament.
James H. helped pass the sacrament.  I noticed all of the boys passing had on suits

Since today was the Franklin 5th ward conference both the bishop and the stake president spoke.  The theme was taken from Mosiah 5:1-2 where the people are changed through the power of the Holy Ghost after the preaching of King Benjamin regarding Jesus Christ and His Atonement.  "They have no more disposition to do evil, but to do good continually."  The whole focus of the meeting was about "Change."
We gave everyone a hug and left after sacrament meeting so we could get home at a decent hour.  We had to stop in Deming for gas and we also got something to eat at Sonic.  This is why I hate to travel on Sunday.  We got home around 8pm.  It was a fun trip except for the fact that Gerardo Rico totally ditched us and that was the original reason for the trip in the first place.  I am really glad we went because we had a great time with Jared and his kids.

Trina sent me this picture of Lola today and her mom Susy posted the other one of Kreed and Ruby.
I love this picture and her dimple!
I love the look on Ruby's face as she looks with
adoration at her cousin and best friend, Kreed.

"We need unequivocal commitment to the commandments and strict adherence to sacred covenants.  When we allow rationalizations to prevent us from temple endowments, worthy missions and temple marriage, they are particularly harmful.  It is heartbreaking when we profess belief in these goals yet neglect the everyday conduct required to achieve them."
-Elder Quentin L. Cook

James, Alex, and James Hayden get up erly to go fishing at Silver Creek.
James Hayden caught the most fish, 3.
I think grandpa's was the biggest.
Alex helped James Hayden but was still able to catch one of his own.
It was a relaxing day around the house.  Kim did my Christmas puzzle, Kim, Joe, Alex and James Hayden played Hearts, and there were a few games of Five Crowns.  I played Settlers with James H. and Alex.  Alex won of course.  I forgot how much fun the game is.

Brian and the boys watched "Heaven is Real."  Joe played his guitar, I read to James from "For Elise" and Kim made her famous homemade macaroni and Cheese.  It didn't last long and we could have eaten more.

This evening James, Alex, and James H. went hunting for coyotes.

They got back in time to watch Chandler win the state championship football game against Hamilton, 28-7.  It kind of makes up for ASU losing to UofA.
Chandler has celebrated it's 100th year in style.  They were just named the number one school district in Arizona and now Chandler high wins the state football championship for the first time since 1949.

"Immersion in the scriptures is essential for spiritual nourishment.  The word of God inspires commitment and acts as a healing balm for hurt feelings, anger, or disillusionment.  When our commitment is diminished for any reason, part of the solution is repentance.  Commitment and repentance are closely intertwined."
-Elder Quentin L. Cook

Alex went with his ward to do baptisms for the dead this morning t 5:30 a.m.  I was very proud of him!
I worked on my talk this morning while James went to work at the airport. He buried the 1500 gallon tank today!
I took a break and went through Krispy Kreme drive thru for breakfast.
I went to Evan's last soccer game with Evan and Sheri.  Ian was with Max at his last two football games.  He won the first and lost the last and so his team was eliminated from the playoffs.  Max had a great season though.
Evan plays on the DC United team
Evan and his friend from the ward
After the game I went shopping at Fry's and bought 30 lbs of butter for $1.99 a lb.  20 lbs were for Stefani Hunsaker and the other 10 for me.  I also bought five cheesecakes at Sam's Club for our Young Women in Excellence next week.  I went home and took a short nap and then got ready to go to Evan's baptism.
So proud of these three boys for being baptized this year!
Evan was baptized by his dad and confirmed by his grandpa James.  Uncle Darrel and Uncle Paul were the witnesses.  Evan seemed so happy.  Sister Paula Casto, the Primary president gave the talk on baptism and I gave the talk on the Holy Ghost.  Evan listened and acted very interested.  He is such a sweet boy!
Random pictures taken at the baptism:

Not taken at the baptism but I had to include it!

James and I left for home around 6pm.  I bought gas at Sam's Club for $2.85 after paying $3.35 yesterday in Show Low.  I stopped at Burger House and got 8 burros.  We bought extra for those priesthood holders serving at the temple dedication at the Vernon building tomorrow.  I also stopped at Fry's and got some huge apples.  We were home a little after 9.  We unpacked and went to bed.
