Seth and his Northern Pike

Sheri's quote:
"Great courage will be required as we remain
FAITHFUL and TRUE
amid the ever-increasing pressures
and insidious influences."
-Pres. Thomas S. Monson

I was up quite early.  I couldn't sleep.  I was worried about selling the house and not seeing Joshua again.  James, on the other hand, had good dreams about me. He very seldom remembers his dreams.

James and I left the house around 8:30 to go to the Social Security office in Mesa. I had to get my 1099's for 2012, 2013, and 2014.  It only took us a few minutes and we were finished.  Last week when James got his it took him over an hour!

I got a call from Dennis inviting me to Vickie's birthday lunch today.  Of course I had to tell him I couldn't make it.  Maybe I can take her and Vickie out next week or the week after.
James helped me load up my car with boxes I had stored in Central self storage.

Kim, James and I had lunch at the new Kneader's in Chandler on Queen Creek and Alma School.  It's the new one where Dallin works but we didn't see him. I invited Stacy to come too but she declined.   James and I both had Reuben sandwiches and I had the cheddar poblano soup.  It was delicious.  Kim ate healthy and had a salad.
Kim told us all about her "Wanda the Witch" activities.  It sounds like lots of fun but also alot of work!

After lunch I tried to take a nap and then go pick up my Metoprolol prescription at Walmart.  The pharmacy was closed for lunch so I called James and asked him to pick it up later so I could head for home.  I stopped at Deseret Book and got us two new books to read.  This is the one we are reading first:
New author so I don't know how good it's going to be.

I only had to stop 2x by the side of the road to take a short nap.  When I got home I unloaded my car and sat down to watch some TV.  I watched "Keeping up with the Randall's" by myself and when James got home around 9:30 we watched "Last Chance Harvey" starring Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson.

Bobby and Darlene Noel
They were just called to serve their fourth mission.
Bobby is going to be the chaplain at BYU-Hawaii.
What a great example they are!

I just listened to Elder Hales' conference talk.  He makes the point that our religious freedom depends upon our use of the gift of agency.  It was such a good talk and very timely considering all that is going on in our country right now.

In reading Hermana (Dahlia) Dowdle's email from her mission in Chicago she makes this statement: "Everyone should serve a mission!"

Ben and Max came down to work this morning.  We worked outside sweeping and cleaning the front porch and then they came inside and helped me pack some boxes.  We cleaned things out under the TV and the dry sink.  Ben packed up all the books and DVD's stored on the fireplace shelves.  Ben went home and Max stayed and helped Michael clean the closet under the basement stairs.  We found a 1st Edition unopened Heman action figure belonging to Darrel.  Adam looked it up on the internet and determined it was worth about $50.

I had a short visit with Adam again before work.  He helped me delete some items from my phone so I could take more pictures.

James and his crew, including Seth, poured 40 yards of concrete at Desert Highlands.

Joel repainted the hall and entryway.  It looks so much nicer!  He is such a good painter.  I am so grateful for his help and I know that James is too.

After lunch and a nap I set out to do some errands.  I rented a storage unit at Central Self-Storage, then went to the bank and Walmart.

Later for dinner James and I went to Serranos.  We love their chips, salsa and bean dip.  Also I have been craving a chili relleno.  It did not disappoint.

Stacy's friend Elska has decided not to buy our house.  We were hoping she would but I can't say that I am surprised that she decided against it.

I went to bed very stiff and sore.  To relax, we listened to the conference address by Elder Kevin W. Pearson entitled "Stay By the Tree."  It is one of my favorite talks.
