Jesus Christ, Jehovah
Abraham 1:16
And his voice was unto me: Abraham, Abraham, behold, my name is Jehovah, and I have heard thee, and have come down to deliver thee, and to take thee away from thy father's house, and from all thy kinsfolk, into a strange land which thou knowest not of;
Book of Mormon
The Four Groups of People:(Made up by me so I can remember)
1. Tempted by the Mists of Temptation and wandered off the path.
2. Clingers who are Mocked and wander off the path.
3. Faithful Worshippers. Make it to the tree, fall down and worship the Savior, and stay by the tree.
4. Offpath dodgers. Never make it on the path and dodge the tree.
"Covenant Women in Partnership with God"
President Henry B. Eyring
" You might reasonably ask how a man of any age can know what mothers need. It's a valid question. Men can't know everything, but we can learn some lessons by revelation from God. And we can also learn much by observation, when we take the opportunity to seek the Spirit to help us understand what we observe."
I was up at 4:30 this morning to shower and wash my hair before my planning, praying, and pondering session. I had a good breakfast and then blogged for Sunday, January 5th. Will I every catch up on my blog? Only if I consistently make two blog entries everyday. James and I said our prayers together. Now we study our scriptures in the evening but we still have morning prayers together. After a hug and a kiss I went upstairs to work. Today everything must be ready as Darrel's family is coming tonight.
I finished vacuuming and dusting both offices and then cleaned the bathroom at that end of the upstairs. I wanted to start stripping the wax off the floor but I needed to wait for James to come up and put a lightbulb in Darrel and Trina's closet. He was taking a long time and when I asked him why he said he couldn't find the small ladder. Eventually he did find it and changed the lightbulb and went back downstairs.
Stripping polish/wax off the floor is a long and tedious process. First I spread the remover with my swifer, wait five or six minutes and then with a wet mop remove the wax. I dry the floor with a towel, and sweep up the pieces of wax not removed by the towel, then vacuum. I can only do a small section at a time.
My original plan was to work until noon and then stop no matter if I was done or not. The floor looked so good with the wax removed that I didn't want to stop. I did take a lunch break. I was going to go into town this afternoon and pick up my Tramadol but I had not received notification that it was in, so I called the pharmacy. I talked to the pharmicist, Darrel's friend Brett who is also a bishop in Show Low and he said he was sorry but it wouldn't be in until Monday because the warehouse was out. I hope I can hang on that long. the Ibruprofen and aspirin I am taking is really not doing the trick.
Since I'm not going in to town I can work on the floor some more, which I did. I worked all afternoon on that sticky, messy job but it was totally worth it because the floor looks great! James finished the last little bit of the floor and put away all of the equipment while I soaked in the bathtub. After soaking in the tub I sat in my recliner and while James rubbed my feet we watched "Winter Castle." We shared a pot pie for dinner.
Darrel and Trina arrived around 9 p.m. James had a new toy for them to play with.

a nerf bullet at them to see if you can hit them.
Lola was the best shot.
