Jesus Christ, Judge
2 Nephi 28:23
Yea, they are grasped with death, and hell; and death, and hell, and the devil, and all that have been seized therewith must stand before the throne of God, and be judged according to their works, from whence they must go into the place prepared for them, even a lake of fire and brimstone, which is endless torment.

" The Primary song I began with concludes with this profound statement: I believe in the Savior, Jesus Christ. I'll honor his name. I'll do what is right; I'll follow his light. His truth I will proclaim."
I bear witness that these words are true and that we have a loving Father in Heaven, who is waiting for us to turn to Him to bless our lives and the lives of those around us. May we have the desire to bring our brothers and sisters to Christ is my prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."

Ensign
"I Became 14 Again"

I got an email from Tamara this morning around 6 a.m. It was an email to the entire Relief Society Presidency, which includes myself, Kerri, and Maxine.

This is what the email said:
Jace Hood passed away early this morning. Glenzo called Jimmie. They're going to have to do an autopsy to find out how he died. Mary, his sister, is having a rough time. Who are her ministering sisters?

I was shocked and saddened and immediately told James who was still in bed. We both had taught Jace in Primary. He was 11 years old last October and has been passing the sacrament since January along with his friends Colter and Eugene. He loved passing the sacrament and always wore his black suit that he got for his baptism a year or so ago.

Brother Forrester in our ward, who is an EMT, and the bishop's son-in-law went over around 2 a.m. to Jace's home and tried to revive him. He worked on him for an hour with no response. So very sad.

The shocking thing is that Jace's mother who lives in Whiteriver passed away earlier in the week.

Today is the day that the kids go home. Trina is coming in Big Bertha this afternoon. Big Bertha can hold 8 people.

I worked on my blog and books until the kids got up. I made bacon, fresh hashbrowns, which are better than the frozen, and croissants. James came in and scrambled some eggs. The only ones who came to eat were Joshua, Ruby, and Lola. Evan is still asleep and Max already ate and Addy isn't eating.

After breakfast Ruby and Lola helped me put the puzzles away. In the process I knocked down the Life game and Ruby offered to pick it up for me. She is such a sweetie! Addy cleaned upstairs and brought me down the sheets off the beds where she and the other girls slept. The boys spent the morning playing video games. I gave Addy a garbage bag for them to use to pick up garbage but I noticed when I went upstairs that the bag was empty and the garbage containers were still full.

No one seemed interested in lunch when I asked what they wanted so I went and helped Addy register on Family Search.

Trina got here around 3 a.m. She said  she was not going to come in and won't get close to us because she doesn't want us to get sick. She says this because she works in the ER at the Gilbert hospital. She brought us a package of toilet paper and two bags of sugar. She would have brought flour but the store was out. Thank you Trina!

Rowan made some confessions as soon as Trina showed up.
"Mom, I stayed up until 3 a.m. and I didn't take a shower all week."
I guess he had a guilty conscious. Wow, I didn't no I had to monitor shower taking at the age.

I gave everyone a hug except for Trina and we said our goodbyes.

Trina insisted on taking this picture:

Yes, there is a reason I cut this photo.

After everyone was gone I sat down to make sure my Hallmark movies were taping. I discovered my TV was on the wrong setting and I couldn't find the satellite channels. I called Rowan and he was a little help, but not quite enough. Later, James came over and fixed it. This is a miracle in and of itself because James knows nothing about the TV. I think maybe the wrong HDMI cord was hooked up and he changed it but he wouldn't reveal his secret as to what he did.

Brother Peeler called this evening and said he was going to cancel our "Come Follow Me' gathering at his house tomorrow. His reason was that he was with Jace at the Family History activity on the 11th and until Jace has been tested for Coronavirus he. Brother Peeler, is going to self-isolate. He suggested that I do the same because I was with Jace at that same meeting.

Brother Howard called and said the paint mare is back and she is ours! We are so excited!

This evening James and I watched a Hallmark movie, "The Key of Love." We both really liked it.

That is a big catfish!

"There is much we do not understand about becoming like the Father. But I can testify with certainty that striving to become like the Father is worth every sacrifice. The sacrifices we make here in mortality, no matter how great, are simply incomparable to the immeasurable joy, happiness, and love we will fell in God' presence. If you are struggling to believe it is worth the sacrifices you are asked to make, the Savior calls to you, saying, 'Ye have not as yet understood how great blessings the Father hath ... prepared for you; ... ye cannot  bear all things now; nevertheless, be of good cheer, for I will lead you along."

Here is the letter that Ben sent to his mom this week:

I think Ben is a natural born speaker and preacher.

I ordered several books today and was able to get my tramadoll prescription refilled.

A sister in our ward had to go in for emergency surgery. Her name is Sister Campbell and she had cancer surgery a couple of weeks ago. We had a sister willing to pick her up from the hospital but her husband was able to do it. It's always nice to know that people are willing to help if needed.

James made lots of phone calls today to schedule work for the next phase of the Chacon job. He made the comment to me: "Let's do something fun," but we got so busy we never did. Hopefully sometime this week we can go to Buckelieu Springs and see the water falls. We did read from our book today and watched "Campfire Kiss" on the Hallmark channel.

I inventoried, sourced and set buying alerts in our book business besides buying several books. Things are beginning to happen and we finally feel like we know what we are doing. We have sold over 30 books but that's just the beginning.

A look of pure joy on that face

This sweet family from our ward was recently
sealed in the temple. Sister Nichols is the sister
who made the delicious chicken salad for our
Relief Society birthday party.

Jesus Christ, Divine Sonship

When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.

What are some insights about the Plan of Salvation in this chapter?

"We are a missionary people. We are sometimes asked why we send missionaries to so many nations, even among Christian populations. We receive the same question about why we give many millions of dollars of humanitarian aid to persons who are not members of our Church and why we do not like this aid to our missionary efforts. We do this because we esteem all mortals as children of God - our brothers and sisters - and we want to share our spiritual and temporal abundance with everyone."

It is 10 degrees outside. It will be sunny today and the high will be 30 degrees.

We sold book #6 today, "Homemade Flour." Another book, "Earth Science" is pending. Things are finally starting to happen.

I read an article on Meridian Magazine today about mountains, adversity, and becoming like God entitled, "When Life's Adversities Mount." The article was written by Sister Joni Hilton. I am going to use some of the information from this article in my email to Ben this week. Here is the part I want to send him:
"God allows bad things to happen to good people because earth life is where He makes us into more than we knew we could be. This wasn't supposed to be an amusement park with free-flowing ice cream; it's a learning laboratory, a place of transformation. As we draw closer to our Father in Heaven, as we involve Him in our lives and turn to Him with faith we break through the childish desire for instant gratification and self-indulgence. We find greater fulfillment in building the kingdom. We learn Godly traits as we endure setbacks and sorrows. We find deeper joy in serving and sometimes rescuing others. We overcome what looked like crushing obstacles, pressures beyond our imagination. But if we overcome, we BECOME and what we become are mountains."

James and I listened to Book Profits webinar today featuring John, Kris, Paul, and Nate of Mastermind. It was ok.

James and I made green chili venison stew today. It was delicious, especially with Sister Schuster's rolls.

Today while working the book business I removed four books from our stranded inventory;  two Japan books, and two Abnormal Psychology books. I inventoried four more books to be merchant fulfilled. While working the business I had an old Hallmark movie on, "Cooking with Love." A good movie starring Ali Liebert and Brett Dalton. Ali plays Kelly and Brett play Chef Stephen. Kelly says to Chef Stephen: "Sometimes it's better to be kind than right."

Do I really want to exercise?

 Ok, Here I go.

I feel so good about myself.

 Weird!
