April General Conference
"The Testimony of Jesus" Elder D. Todd Christofferson
I woke up at 4:11 this morning. After taking my thyroid pill, I settled on the recliner in the bedroom and put in my air pods to listen to "Genius Wave Express" for about 17 minutes.
I had an appointment this morning at 9 with Pierce to get my teeth worked on. He worked on the upper right side of my mouth. First a shot and then drill, drill, drill to get ride of all of the cavities. The two teeth he worked on will both have crowns. He added another crown because he was afraid the tooth in the middle would look funny with a crown on each side. This means another $300.
I was there a little over two hours. Again, Susan was there to assist. We talked about the fact that they went to see Elder Bednar on Sunday as he presided over the Globe stake conference. Pierce said it was very enjoyable.
Today I paid $600 for the two crowns. My next appointment is on Thursday. After my appointment I went home to ask James if he wanted to go to town with me. He was outside working on the fence with Paul Peeler. He said he was too busy to go, so I left without him.
My first stop was Taco Bell. I had a Mexican pizza for lunch. I went to Dollar Tree and got myself some socks and I also bought several birthday cards. Next stop was Walmart and then Culver's to get James a cod fillet sandwich. He called and asked me if I would. I had already planned on doing it anyway. It's one of the only things he really craves right now.
I got home, put the groceries away, took a nap, worked on my blog and walked.
It was a beautiful sunny day with the high around 75. We are still waiting for Wayne Todd Mayfield to come to shoe Apollo.
Instead of living in Julie Wilhelm's house while they build their home, Jeff & Susan Crane and family are staying in a 5th wheel in Chuck & Kathy's yard.
I watched "DWTS". Anna Delvey, a convicted felon went home and so did Tori Spelling. The two worst dancers and Eric Roberts and Reginald who was on the show "Family Matters", a black comedian actor who barely moves. They are still there because they have more fans that Tori and Anna. I doubted that anyone voted for Anna. People aren't happy she was even on the show.
Stacy has Covid.
Notes & Quotes
"The inheritors of the celestial kingdom receive the testimony of Jesus in the fullest sense by being baptized, receiving the Holy Ghost, and overcoming by faith. The principles and truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ govern their priorities and choices. The testimony of Jesus is manifest in what they are and what they are becoming. Their motive is charity, the pure love of Christ. Their focus is on pursuing 'the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.'"
