When To Receive Your Partriachal Blessing
Elder Kazuhiko Yamashita
Of the Seventy
"When you receive your blessing, you will realize and feel how Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you and how They focus on you individually."

I am still studying 1 Nephi 4. Once I get in square in my mind why Nephi had to kill Laban and why he cut off his head I will share my feelings and findings with my family.

In Come Follow Me I studied about Seventies and what they were called to do in Jesus' time and what they do today. I also read the parable of the Good Samaritan.

James and I went to town today. I am buying food because we are feeding the missionaries tomorrow. While I was shopping at Walmart James went to Home Depot to look for electrical supplies for Barbara's. He also was supposed to get diesel, but he forgot and then berated himself for forgetting. I tried to encourage him saying that we are all human and make mistakes all of the time. I'm not sure it did any good.

While I was waiting in the wind for James to pick me up I saw a recent convert from our ward, Anne Johnson. She was going in to Walmart. I said hello and we mentioned the wind. She said she promised herself she wasn't going to complain about the wind because the wind dries up the mud. I agreed and said the wind was good for something. Secretly I'm still going to complain about it.

When I got home and put away the groceries I took a break and then worked on my blog. My life is quite predictable. I walked and finished my book, "My Dearest Love" by Sarah M. Eden. It was a short book.

I mopped the kitchen floor just before James got home from Barbara's. Luckily I was in the kitchen and could remind him to take off his shoes. We walked and listened to "Scotland's Melody."
