Jesus Christ, Testimony of
Jacob 4:4
For, for this intent have we written these things, that they may know that we knew of Christ, and we had a hope of his glory many hundred years before his coming; and not only we ourselves had a hope of his glory, but also all the holy prophets which were before us.

Have I Truly Been Forgiven?
Elder K. Brett Nattress
Of the Seventy
"The promise of complete and perfect forgiveness is made to everyone - in and through the infinite Atonement of Jesus Christ."
I woke up early enough today to read my patriarchal blessing before my prayers. It is always good to review those blessings given to me so long ago while I was in college and before I got married.
I listened to Elder Nattress' conference talk this morning and I do believe it is my favorite. The name of the talk is "Have I Truly Been Forgiven."? You will have to read it or listen to it to see why I love it so much.
James worked all day getting records ready for Frank, Jerrod Bowen's attorney and part owner in Jerrod's tenant improvement business. It seems like James went up the stairs 50 times or more. I did help him by typing one paper. Whoopee.
Today I worked on my blog, got my steps, prayed, studied the gospel, and made cabbage soup, which we both love. I did nothing on my list of long-term goals such as working on our will, cleaning my closet, doing family history, etc. I just don't seem to have the motivation or energy. I am a little discouraged that I don't get more done. I do pray everyday that I will do the important things and be receptive to the voice of the Spirit.
I listened to my book, "The Ruby" and James and I listened to "Scotland's Melody." James is also reading the book Kerri Halcomb loaned us.
A line from my patriarchal blessing that I like to focus on:
You will be a Savior on Mount Zion to your family, both the living and the dead.
