So, in the midst of this refiner's fire, rather than get angry with God, get close to God. Call upon the Father in the name of the Son. Walk with Them in the Spirit, day by day. Allow Them over time to manifest Their fidelity to you. Come truly to know Them and truly to know yourself. Let God prevail.

I'm going to start out today by telling about the aftermath of yesterday's hailstorm.  Chuck said it totally ruined their garden and put dents in the top of Kathy's car. It also shredded their greenhouse. 

I knocked pine needles off our pine trees until they almost look bare. I'm not sure of any other damage around town. The Crane's always have the nicest garden. I am sure they are pretty discouraged about what happened. 

James left for Thompson's this morning after scriptures, prayer, and breakfast. He wanted to assess how wet it was after yesterday's storm. He came home a few hours later and said there was no way a concrete truck to get it without getting stuck. He tried to order some cinder from Perkins' but they can't deliver until tomorrow afternoon. He borrowed Pierce's trailer and went and got one load and had a flat tire. He fixed it and went to get another load and had another flat tire. More rain came this afternoon and he decided to cancel the conrete for tomorrow. He was so discouraged and I am sure the Thompson's, Gary and Maxine, are too.

Trina and Rowan, Ruby, and Lola got her after 5. Trina bought food for the kids and it took awhile for us to unload it. As soon as it was unloaded Trina left for home. I told her to text me when she got home, which she did, a little before 10. She, Darrel, and Addy are leaving tomorrow morning early for Florida. 

I was going to take the girls for a Razr ride this evening but it started to rain so we postponed until tomorrow.

Ruby took apart the round puzzle that Kim did and is going to put it back together again. I started the donut puzzle on the coffee table.

Lola asked me for paper and a pen and a few minutes later she brought both Ruby and I an invitation to her upstairs tea party. Lola checks us in at the top of the stairs and makes sure we have our invitations with us. It was a fun tea party although there was no real tea or goodies. 

I worked on my puzzle a little longer and watched part of a movie caed, "Scents and Sensibility" starring Ashley Williams and Marla Sokoloff.

We had family prayer with the kids before going to bed. Rowan said he will go to Globe with James in the morning to work.
