Our natures change to become as a little child, obedient to God and more loving. That change will qualify us to enjoy the gifts that come through the Holy Ghost. Having the Spirit's companionship will comfort, guide, and strengthen us.

James brought me tea this morning, we had our prayers together and I kissed him goodbye. He came home later in the afternoon for something and told me it was 10 3/4 miles to the Thompson's. No wonder he is always out of gas.

My blood sugar was 113 this morning which made me quite happy.
I made a lunch from ingredients we had in our food storage. A quart bottle of chicken that the Grapp's bottled for me in October 2020. Rotel, chicken brother, green chili enchilada sauce, green chili's, black beans, and pinto beans. I also sauteed an onion which was the only thing I used that wasn't part of our storage. James loved the soup and so did I.

While James was working at the Thompson's most of the day, I made out food storage menu cards and began inventoring our #10 cannery food in our closet by the laundry room. This is going to be quite a project but I believe it will be worth it.

We had hard rain today for about 10 minutes.

I started my fast today around 1:30 but waited for James to say a prayer and decide what we are fasting for. I'm pretty sure it will be for his concrete pour at the Thompson's on Tuesday. There is a 70% chance of rain that day.

I watched a movie called "Sweet As Pie" today about a girl who loves her families Knobbed Russet Apples. I've never heard of them and they certainly are ugly.

James and I watched the newest Hallmark movie, "Love in the Limelight" starring Carlos and Alexis Penavega. I didn't know Carlos could sing but he certainly can as he proved in this movie.

a thunderstorm. He runs around barking.
Here he is in our field.
