'Finding Joy in My Time Consuming Calling: 3 Traits I Needed to Learn'

Up at 6:36. I couldn't sleep because I had Ammon from the scriptures on my mind. I wrote about him in our R.E.J. Book of Mormon scripture study. 

I have a love/hate relationship with pine trees. I love to hear the wind blowing through the tree branches. I love the smell I just experienced as I stepped outside onto the shady deck just outside my bedroom door. I hate how the pine cones and needles fall all over the ground. That is my love/hate relationship with pine trees. 

James spent the morning working at Matt Hipps' home. Darryl Johnson has filed a claim against our insurance. Now James had to prepare five things for the insurance company. I am not sure what they are but James was a little annoyed about it.

We had steak and broccoli for lunch. James also had a piece of carrot cake for dessert. I cut myself a piece too. I was about half way through the piece when I decided to check carbs and calories. The calories could be up to 800 and the carbs could be 120, depending on how big a piece of cake you have. Yikes! I threw the rest of my piece away. 

My upper right arm really hurts. My Prednisone isn't working yet. 

I had an interesting discussion with Rowan about the Godhead today on our scripture study feed. He said he thought other Christians believed like we did about the Godhead. I asked him why they think we aren't Christians and he couldn't tell me. I told him that other religions believed in the Niocene Creed where God is three in one. I told him this was the philosophies of men, mingled with scripture. All we have to do is think of the First Vision to understand what kind of a God we believe in. It took awhile but I think I convinced him.

I worked on my puzzle while I did my walking today. I also worked on my blog.

We got our new quilt/comforter in the mail today. It does not look like the picture, it is very thin like the ones I bought in China, and it barely fits our king-sized bed. I should have returned it but I liked it enough to keep it, at least for awhile. 

I also got the following items from Amazon: Cayenne pepper capsules, Skinny Syrup for my Sprite Zero. It is cherry flavor. I also got a new prayer journal and a journal to use for R.E.J.

James went with out ward to clean the temple tonight. He and Collin DeWitt went together and they had a great visit. James heard all about the 3 week trip to Europe with grandkids.
