Choose to bring about God's will and help people overcome the effects of the Fall.

Tom went out at 4 this morning and came by in at 5. He eats, drinks, plays, gets brushed and then goes to sleep.

James and I had family prayer, scriptures, Come Follow Me, and listened to a conference talk together.

We made a trip to town together. We mailed Lola's birthday card, stopped at Allegra Printing to pick up Greg Hatch's plans, and Walmart and Home Depot. James bought an electric weed eater at Home Depot and then he came over to Walmart to pick out a watermelon.

On the way home we stopped at Culver's for some lunch and then Tractor Supply for horse feed. Before James went in I handed him a hundred dollar bill. He says he put it in his shirt pocket. When he came out with the horse feed I asked him how much he spent and could I please have my change. Then he dropped a bomb. He said he lost the hundred dollar bill and paid with the credit card.

After loading the horse feed James went back into the store to look for the money. I began looking in the car. We looked and looked and looked. No money. I can't believe it just disappeared. Poor James, he feels terrible.

Tom was outside when we got home. He came in, went upstairs and then came back down and laid down with me.

James mowed and edged the lawn. He came in and said he loves the new edger. It started raining when he finished. Perfect timing. Tom was sitting with me and woke up when he heard some thunder. He was a little scared.

James and I went downstairs to put sheets on the bed and vacuum and make sure there were fresh towels. Stacy, Paul and Joshua are coming tonight. I also did a quick clean upstairs.

Our company arrived: Stacy, Paul, Joshua, Shipley, Sofie, and Vader around 9 p.m. Stacy was excited. She said they saw about 60 elk bedded down just down by Pierre's. She said their eyes were shining and it looked like Christmas lights.

The dogs are happy to be here and Sofie is so at home she doesn't even bark at me anymore.

The blessings of rain. The fire restrictions have been lifted just in time for all of the 4th of July campers. Everything is beautiful and green and there is plenty of feed and water for the wildlife.
