Kim finished the puzzle that Charlie sent me. Here is what it looks like:
I love this puzzle!
Thank you Charlie!

I helped James compose a letter for Bama Barbershop and Daryl Johnson who is going to court to try and get back some of the losses from the first contractor. James listed the charges for extra things he has spent and what Daryl owes him over the contract. James was grateful for the help because he doesn't type, especially with one hand. Armando had a final inspection today and he didn't pass. There has to be another exit sign between the two rooms and the bathroom has to be labeled in braille. That's a new one.

Kim and I keep passing each other walking outside on the deck. I am so grateful that the weather is nice enough for us to walk outside. We weren't the only ones spending time outside. Brian put up his Broncos hammock and spent quite a bit of time relaxing in it. I am glad that Kim and Brian are here and can get some relaxation in away from home and worries.

James said Paul Peeler and Owen's grandson Jarom worked harder today than any two people he has had in a long time. Owen came and helped too, mainly just handing things to the other workers and being a "gofer." Jarom and Owen both said they didn't want to get paid. James asked if he could give what they would have earned to Paul and they both said yes. It was overcast this afternoon making for perfect working conditions.

I listened to "Follow Him" today and printed the show notes because there are some things that I want to use for my lesson on Sunday. I also bought "Teaching with Power" slides, handouts, and transcript. Ben Wilcox always has some great teaching ideas.

This evening Kim, Brian, and I watched the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" Christmas special. It was just as good or better than the new episode. I have seen it before and so have Kim and Brian but I had forgotten about it. The Postables put on the nativity play at a hospital. I am so glad they focused on the Savior, His birth, and the real meaning of Christmas because most Christmas movies are just fluff. Oliver helps Shane get through her dislike of Christmas and disbelief in God. Soooo good! I wonder if the writers are LDS or at least practicing Christians.

Tom jumped up in my lap during the movie which made me feel good.

James went to bed early. I got my 12,000 steps and he added about 4,000 more.

Notes & Quotes

"Dear friends, Christ is eager to accompany us on the journey of our lives. I promise you, as you hold on to the iron rod, you will walk hand in hand with Jesus Christ. He will be guiding you, and He will be teaching you. By His hand, you will be able to bring down every Goliath that appears in your life." - Sister Andrea Munoz Spannaus,
"Faithful to the End."
