O what a beautiful morning, O what a beautiful day! It is a beautiful day but James and I are both pretty miserable. I feel like I have the flu, James said Covid but I ignored him.

Tom headed for the door to go outside this morning and I said to him: "Aren't you even going to let me pet you?" He lays down, and looks up at me. I think he understands me!

We got a little rain today, but not much. I saved working on my blog until evening and then I was too tired to do it.

I did manage to work on my Relief Society lesson a little. It is based on President Oaks's talk, "Covenants and Responsibilities."

James and I mailed our voting ballots in today. They are due next Tuesday. We voted for Mark Lamb. I didn't know anyone else on the ballot. I hope Mark wins for U.S. Senate. He is running against Kari Lake.

Biden has resigned his bid for re-election. Now it's Kamala Harris against Trump. I don't think she is much better than Biden.

Notes & Quotes
"Inscribed on the front of each temple is a solemn statement: "Holiness to the Lord." These inspired words are a clear invitation that when we enter the Lord's house, we embark on a sacred journey of learning to become higher and holier disciples of Christ."
