Therefore we plead before thee for a full and complete deliverance from under the yoke;

 Today I really enjoyed my time with James. He came and put his head on my lap when I was sitting down in the family room, more than once. He said he wanted to spend his time with me, although he had work to do. He worked at the Hipps's and took our garbage and the Crane's to the dump. Chuck is laid up with his back and Kathy is not feeling well.

James also talked to Collin about his fall. He is waiting for the swelling in his ankle to go down so he can have surgery to repair it.

James took me to town. He got me an Arizona burrito at Aliberto's. I vowed it would be my last one because, although it is delicious, it is quite greasy. I ate about half of it. We also stopped at Walmart for some catfood, milk, and a 12 pack of Dr. Pepper Zero. Before we left for town I fixed us some lunch. We have two containers of cabbage soup in the refrigerator but since he got sick after eating it the other day, he doesn't want it anymore. Before leaving town we stopped at Panda and I got a bowl of orange chicken with chow mein. James got some kind of chicken with fried rice. Neither of us ate it all so we will be able to have some tomorrow.

I had totally forgotten it was Father's day tomorrow. For some reason I thought it was next week. I am ill prepared and I must say that I am ashamed of myself.

This evening James and I watched an older Hallmark movie starring JoAnna Garcia Swisher who was Reba's oldest daughter on the Reba show. She works for a large hotel chain and they want to see about buying property in Kilabbey, Ireland on the plot of land where an ancient castle stands. JoAnna's character is to go to Kilabbey and convince the town council to sell the land to the hotel chain. Of course, this is easier said than done and she ends up siding with the town and falling in love with a local. It was a cute movie and I am grateful to James for watching it with me.

Something I forgot to mention. James and I have been smelling something dead while outside on the deck. James thought it might be under the house so he crawled under but could find nothing.
He came in the other day and said he had found out what the dead smell was. He said there was a dead coyote under my "Christmas" tree. Gross! Right here in our yard. I wonder how he died.
