"Walk with Him"  Parrella and Wadell

Up at 4:40. I am trying to get back on my schedule but it is difficult.
I prayed and studied on my own until James came back in for family prayer and scripture study. Afterwards I listened and watched "Walk with Him" with Barbara Morgan Gardner and Elaine Dalton. They discussed Elder Parrella's talk "Bearing Witness of Jesus Christ in Word and Actions." and Bishop W. Christopher Waddell, "More Than a Hero."

After my gospel study I got ready to go to town with James. He is going in to get his driver's license which expired on his birthday.
When he went into the DMV there were only two people a head of him. He was in and out in less than 15 minutes. That must be some kind of record. We went on to Walmart and Home Depot. Whoever built these two stores next to each other knew us well.

I focused on buying ingredient for three recipes, one of them being my Weight Watcher garden soup recipe. James picked up my prescription and then helped me checkout.

Before going home we stopped at Culver's for some lunch. I ordered a raspberry waffle cone and a chicken cashew salad. James got a cod fillet sandwich.

We are listening to a book called "The Lies Jane Austen Told Me." I am listening to a book that we have listened to before, "My Fair Gentleman." I really like this book and the narrator is great too.

As I was putting the groceries away I asked James where my half gallon of milk was. He said he didn't know but he would go outside and look in the car. It wasn't there. I got out our receipt and began going through it to see if anything else was missing. We are missing two avocados, a box of tissues, and a battery powered toothbrush along with the milk. James called Walmart and told them our dilemma and mentioned that we checked out at register number 31. The person he spoke to said the bag of groceries was found and we could come in with our receipt and get a refund. James explained that we lived out of town.

I took my nap this afternoon while James worked on our income taxes. I also did two blog posts and walked.

James had shrimp for dinner and I had a protein shake. I was in bed by 8:19.
