And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of endless misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.

I love Mondays because they represent a new beginning. I am always grateful for new beginnings.
Ralph and Willy came over this more to do more welding on the stable. These two guys are two of the nicest guys I have every met and they are so low-key. I know Willy better than Ralph but these two have been best friends since high school and they are a lot alike.
James is going to get a picture of them for me so I can post it on here.
I found out a few days ago from Instagram posts that Trina and Darrel were ate the beach so I texted today to see where they were. I didn't think there would be anyway that they would have gone to Maui, but they did. They are staying in a different town than Lahaina, where the fire was and they are having a great time!
Jared didn't come outside to work with James this morning so we are still concerned. We said a prayer and decided that we needed to talk to him. James went down to get him while I got presentable.
James started talking to Jared before I made it into the family room. He told him we were very worried about him because of his change in behavior and asked him if he had been drinking. Jared said no, he had not, that he was just sick. I asked him if he wanted to stay here. He said yes, at least until the stable was finished. Case closed. He's staying. We had said if he had been drinking that we were going to take him home. I had even called Stacy and told her. Jared spent the rest of the day in bed.
Stacy had her deal go through and she was able to pay me some of the money she owes me.
Tom Van Vleet's funeral will be a week from Saturday. I asked Sheri is she wanted me to go with her. She said no, there was a group from the office who would be going.
James and I went to town this afternoon. He needed to get something at Lowe's and then we went to Firehouse for some dinner. We each got a small Hook and Ladder sandwich and we got a medium one to take home to Jared. He took it and put it in the frig and said he would eat it tomorrow.
I watched yesterday's episode of "When Calls the Heart." James and I started the last book in the Barrington family sage, "Promise of Zion." The weather was beautiful today.
