I would like to share three specific ways our Heavenly Father manifests His love for us, His children.

If we build our foundation on Jesus Christ, we cannot fall!

The Family Proclamation
P1
We, The First Presidency and the Council of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, solemnly proclaim that marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God and that the family is central to the Creator's plan for the eternal destiny of His children.

I woke up this morning in Rowan's bed. If felt like I didn't belong, so I got up and got dressed. We left Darrel and Trina's about 7:20 and thanked Trina for letting us stay and Rowan for letting us use his room. James wanted to go to IHOP for breakfast. IHOP is on Southern and Signal Butte. We went in and there were already quite a few gray haired people there, a few younger ones too. James had fried eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast. I had a bowl with scrambled eggs, crumbled bacon, and hash browns and cheese with salsa on top. We also order a couple of harvest nut and grain pancakes and shared them. We did leave some leftover food because our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. From IHOP we headed to the Walmart on Gilbert and Germann. James wanted to see if they had any of his dark chocolate shakes.

This is one of my favorite Walmarts because it is nice and clean. I got myself a new phone cord because one of mine no longer works. James could not find any of his shakes. I talked him into getting some of the high protein shakes I get, only instead of caramel like mine, he could get chocolate. He said they were too expensive. They are $7.47 for a four-pack so he's right, but I talked him in to it anyway.

From Walmart we went to Sheri's. We got there about 9:15 thinking she wasn't there we waited in the car. She texted me and said she was lying down and to text her when we got there. We went in. Max was there cooking breakfast. I wondered why he hadn't gone to school and then I remembered that he was going to Alex's to work on homework today. Max went outside to eat and Sheri was concerned because he had lots of carbs and had not done a blood sugar check and had not taken any insulin. I can see that she is in a constant state of worry with him.
Sheri sat at the dining room table and I sat there too while James gave her a blessing. It was a good blessing and I hope Sheri wrote down some of the promises made in the blessing.
James said he needed to go to Casa Grande and wanted to know if I wanted to go with him or if I wanted to stay here with Sheri. I knew Sheri was either going to go back to work of take a nap so I told him I would go with him. I noticed that Sheri left when we did so she is probably going back to work.

James decided against going to Casa Grande. We went to Costco instead. I have a $40 rewards coupon and James needs hearing aid batteries and I wanted to get some walnuts.

Costco isn't nearly as much fun as it used to be when they had free samples. We did find Premium shakes, 18 for $21.99. That's better than 4 for $7.47 at Walmart. I got some caramel and James got chocolate. James also got some supplements, his batteries, and I got a bag of walnuts. We didn't stay long. We also got gas for $2.81 a gallon instead of $3.00 in Show Low or Payson.

After Costco we decided to go see James's mom. We called to make sure she was home and yes, she was.

Dawn was home too but she was on a conference call. We had a nice visit and Lois showed us the latest cards they had made. They were graduation cards with owls on them. I'm not sure why I didn't take a picture. She also gave us an Easter card she and Dawn had made and a small book that Rebecca had made. After saying our goodbyes we were on our way home, the Payson way again.

We stopped at Del Taco in Payson for some tacos, crispy beef, fish, and soft chicken. They were small but good.

James stopped at Dairy Queen in Show Low and got me an ice cream cone and a box of cherry Dilly bars. They will last me six days if I just have one a day.

Luna was happy to see James when we got home. She is always ready to eat. Thanks to our friend and neighbor, Chuck, who took care of her this morning.

Somehow I managed to walk 12,000 steps today.
