Jesus Christ, Power of
Romans 1:20
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

It is not so much about what we are going through in life but what we are becoming.

We have Jesus Christ's perfect example to follow, and the journey toward our eternal home is possible only because of His teachings, His life, and His atoning sacrifice.

The Living Christ
P11
We bear testimony, as His duly ordained Apostles - that Jesus is the Living Christ, the immortal Son of God. He is the great King Immanuel, who stands today on the right hand of His Father. He is the light, the life, and the hope of the world. His way is the path that leads to happiness in this life and eternal life in the world to come. God be thanked for the matchless gift of His divine Son.

James went with me this morning to get my bloodwork done. Afterwards we got something to eat and then went up to the Show Low Cemetery to look at my dad's grave sight. He does not have a headstone and I want to get one for him. I was going to order one until James said he cost quite a bit to ship them so I decided I would go to the place in Show Low and get one. Dennis said he would help pay for it but I never got a response from Harold.

Bought Carrie Underwood's "My Savior" album today. There are several songs on it that I learned from Nannie, especially, "The Old Rugged Cross." I listened to all of the album and loved it!

James got a call Sunday evening from Bishop Hunsaker asking us to speak in church on Sunday. I am to speak on Sister Eubank's talk from the October conference and James on Elder Holland's from the same conference. Bishop said the talks are a guideline for the topics and we don't have to review them but could use our own inspiration and ideas. I think it would be easier if we were just reviewing the talks.

I had texted Sheri this morning and asked her how things were going. She never texted me back so around 3:00 I texted Hello. I found out that she was upset because we didn't come down today. I had wanted to come but James talked me into coming on Thursday with him. Sheri said that was fine and that she wasn't upset, but she really was. I told James she was upset because of a text he sent her and that she was hurt because we didn't come down and that I was going to get ready and go down right now. At first he tried to talk me out of it and then he texted Sheri. Sheri told me not to come but I told her I was coming anyway. This all has to do with dealing with Max. I was ready to go at 4 p.m. but at the last minute James decided he couldn't let me go by myself and he got ready to come too. He put a bunch of tools in the car in case he needed to do some work at Mario's. We left around 4:20. Sheri told me she would be asleep when I got there and I told her to take a nap so she would be awake at 8:00 when I got there. I didn't tell her that James was coming.

When we arrived at Sheri's Ernesto Jiminez was dropping Evan off after Young Men's. Isaiah St. Onge was in the car and another leader was following in another vehicle as a safety measure.

Sheri was walking the dogs and I went to find her while James went into the house to find Max. When Sheri and I got back to the house with the dogs we went into the backyard and Max and James were sitting on the back porch. The four of us began a discussion about Max not going to school, being behind on assignments, and his high blood sugars. He and Sheri are definitely frustrated with each other. Max thinks she treats him like a baby and Sheri is frustrated that Max is being irresponsible. She has always been very responsible and cannot understand when someone is not.

James thinks Max is paranoid. He made a statement that backs this assumption up. He said that all of his teachers are talking about him in a round about way without mentioning his name in front of the other students. He broke his phone because he thinks the government is tracking what he does. He wants to move to Vernon to get away from crowds of people. He says he is not happy at home. James told him if he came up he would have to go to school. By the end of the talk Max was convinced it would be best to stay home until he finishes school. He promised his mom he would do his homework and go to school. Tomorrow he is staying home and going to Alex's where he is going to work on homework. Sheri is still stressed but I do think it helped that we were there.

Trina's book club was still meeting when we got to there house so James and I walked around the green belt several times. Everyone was still up, even Lola. We admired Darrel's cabinet and fireplace that he built. Trina and I talked about her book club. Addy was stressed about homework. Rowan has longer hair than I have ever seen on him. Ruby is the sweetest! Lola is ready to go to bed.

Rowan graciously allowed us to sleep in his room as he always does. Thank you Rowan.
