How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings; that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good; that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth;

'Becoming Like Him'
Elder Scott D. Whiting
Of the Seventy
President Russell M. Nelson lovingly taught: "When we choose to repent, we choose to change! We allow the Savior to transform us into the best version of ourselves. We choose to grow spiritually and receive joy - the joy of redemption in Him. When we choose to repent, we choose to become more like Jesus Christ."
Becoming as Jesus Christ is will require changing our hearts and minds, indeed, our very character, and doing so is possible only through the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Three of the original twelve Apostles - Peter, James, and John - restored the apostleship and keys of priesthood authority.
I am loving this Tens machine that Trina got me for Christmas. It sends electrical impulses through my body and relieves some of the pain from my sciatic nerve. I use the Tens machine first thing, eat something and take some pain meds and the take a shower to get my day and body started.
Kaitlyn, Adam, and Joshua are going home today. Yesterday they said they would be leaving around 5 p.m. For some reason Adam changed his mind and decided to leave earlier. Kaitlyn said she wanted to stay and spend the day relaxing but since Adam was driving it was his decision. I'm not sure why he wanted to leave. They bought so much food at Walmart and barely used any of it.
Kaitlyn said she has taken unopened food back before so that's what they were going to try to do before going home. They left around 1:30. Adam said they would like to come back on his birthday.
A great picture of all of them!
Joshua wins the contest of being here the longest as he came up
with his parents on Christmas day.
The first thing I did after our company left and we had the place to ourselves, was to read to James from our new book, "Tres Leches Cupcakes". Here is the description on the back of this culinary mystery book by Josi S. Kilpack:
For Sadie Hoffmiller, going undercover as an informant for the Bureau of Land Management on an archeological site in Santa Fe, New Mexico, seems like the perfect way to stay safe and busy while a threat against her life remains unresolved. Sadie's days are spent digging up artifacts in the middle of nowhere, but she's also digging up information on her fellow "dirt geeks." With the help of her baking prowess and Pet's cousin, Caro, who takes to the detective work wholeheartedly, Sadie is finding herself again.
But when recent burials are found on an ancient site, Sadie finds herself in the middle of an unexpected - and unwanted - investigation. The more she digs for the truth, the more secrets she uncovers-secrets that people would kill to keep hidden.
Before Sadie knows it, she's arrested for starting a bar fight (which was totally not her fault), her new friend is missing, and she's worn out her welcome in Santa Fe in more ways than one. A trip to the annual hot air balloon fiesta in Albuquerque is supposed to give her a break, but before long, she learns that when you're dealing with the black market antiquity trade, you're not really safe anywhere.
James starts his fast. I am taking pain pills for my sciatic nerve so I ate a little food. We watched the new winter Hallmark movie for this week, "Taking a Shot at Love", starring Alexa Penavega and Luke McFarlane. It was a good way to start the New Year for us and Hallmark.
