Our current prophet, President Russell M. Nelson, has given this description of the part you play in preparation for the Savior's coming:
"It would be impossible to measure the influence that . . . women have, not only on families but also on the Lord's Church, as wives, mothers, and grandmothers; as sisters and aunts; as teachers and leaders; and especially as exemplars and devout defenders of the faith. This has been true in every gospel dispensation since the days of Adam and Eve. Yet the women of this dispensation are distinct from the women of any other because this dispensation is distinct from any other. This distinction brings both privileges and responsibilities."

With reverence and gratitude, we as His Apostles invite all to know - as we do - that the heavens are open.
Day of Misery #2. No Anthony or missionaries for biscuits and gravy when you wife is laying on the couch in pain. There is pain all the way down my left leg. For some reason I cannot lie in bed and get any comfort at all so that is why I am on the recliner. When I get up to walk sometimes it feels like water is running down my leg. I have to check to make sure there isn't any and then I realize it is on the inside of my skin.
James makes me scrambled eggs for breakfast. When James told Anthony about my problem Anthony told his friend Dory who is a nurse and then she called James. When he told her I was taking tramadol and aspirin for pain she said tramadol was very mild and that I need a muscle relaxer. The only problem is you need a prescription for a muscle relaxer. James calls Dr. Moffat and asks him if he will prescribe a muscle relaxer for me. The doctor said he could not do that without seeing me. James said I was to miserable to ride in a car and Dr. Moffat then said, "then call an ambulance."
James worked on the fence awhile but has hit solid rock and without the missionaries here he did not accomplish very much.
James has two girls to feed and take care of, Luna and his couch potato wife. How sad for him but he has been wonderful for me!
James indexes while I watch the newest winter Hallmark movie, "Two for the Win", starring Trevor Donovan as a downhill champion skier.
