Jesus Christ, Second Coming
Luke 21:25-28
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Alma 12:20-27

My plea today to our youth, and to you parents and adults who advise them, is to begin your search for happiness by embracing the bounty we have already received from the giver of every good gift.

Up at 5:22 a.m.

Autumn and Palmer sold their house along with all of their furniture. Palmer has a job near Dallas. He is going to stay with his sister who lives in Dallas during the week. Autumn and Scarlett will be staying with Jared and Kacey. Autumn will be arriving today with a load of things.

I left this morning around 9:30 to pick up Kerri and go to the temple. James had a meeting with the Peeler's regarding their remodel. He came home with a $1,500.00 check. When Kerri and I drove up to the temple, the Thompson's and the Klug's from our ward were right behind us. We all went in together. The Thompson's were the witness couple. I sat between Kerri and Barbara Klug.

As soon as we got to the celestial room Kerri was ready to go. When we got outside after our session I asked Kerri if she wanted to get something to eat. She said she was hungry and didn't care where we went, but she would like to get something to eat. I suggested that we go to Streets of Snowflake, which we did. I had the chicken Chinese salad as I always do and Kerri ordered a turkey club on sourdough. Because of Kerri's kidney transplant she has to be careful of what she eats. She likes salads but didn't order one because there is a lot of bacteria on raw vegetables. Her biggest disappointment is she has to have her steaks well-done.

It was a little before 3 when I got home. I decided I wanted to make some brownies, which I did. Afterwards James and I both took a nap.

This evening James went to the Thompson's to talk to them about
 pouring a concrete slab for the new modular home they bought. It's nice he has an upcoming job here in Vernon!

I texted Pierce this evening and he texted me back. I told him about Parker's testimony and how great it was. He said he was one another one of his kids at the Washington D.C. temple open house.

James and I watched a really good movie this evening on the Up channel. It was called "Finding Normal" and Candace Cameron Bure was one of the stars. So good!

Happy 53rd Anniversary
