So it is with the word of God. We can teach it, we can preach it, we can explain it. We can talk about it, we can describe it, we can even testify of it. But until a person feels the sacred word of God distill upon his or her soul like the dews from heaven through the power of the Spirit, it will be like looking at a postcard or someone else's vacation photos. You have to go there yourself. Conversion is a personal journey - a journey of gathering.

When God responds without the miracle we were hoping for, remember that God responding at all is, in fact, the miracle.
-Elder Ronald A. Rasband

I woke up at 4:43 this morning. I'm worried about the cushions I ordered for the outside furniture.  I check outside and correct my new order. I also ordered a box of Built bars. We left for the valley around 7:20. We had prayers and scriptures in the car and then we listened to our book, "Secrets at Stonebridge." We stop for gas and a potty break in Payson.  We are thirty minutes early to East Valley Urology. I do a video of Chris, the physicians assistant who diagnosed James with cancer. In this video he explains that James's cancer is contained in his prostate. This is what I have been praying for. I have the video on my phone. I would put it on here, but I don't know how. Chris then went over the treatments available. There are two we would consider. One is radiation 5 days a week for 8 1/2 weeks. This one can be done in Show Low and is covered by Medicare insurance. The other is called HiFou. This is a one time deal and is a high frequency ultra-sound. This is the treatment James would prefer but it is not covered by Medicare and costs $18,500. Since we don't have that right now he will have to go with the radiation treatment. Chris looked up a couple of places in Show Low for us to call. He said a doctor from the valley, Dr. Salmon, now lives in Show Low but he is not sure what his number is. Oh yes, there is a procedure that needs to be done before James starts radiation. He needs to have a gel placed between his prostate and rectum so the radiation doesn't got into his rectum. This gel is called Space Orr.

We said our goodbyes to Chris and were on our way. We feel very grateful for James's diagnosis and so do the kids. The next item on our agenda was to get some lunch. We found a Chili's and decided we both wanted another Caribbean salad with shrimp. The salad was good but we were both disappointed that the grilled shrimp was not warm. We didn't mind too much because we both gobbled them down.

Not a good picture of James so I just
focused on the salad. Not a good picture of
it either though.

Next we went to The Vitamin Shoppe in Dana Park. James wanted to get some supplements he can't get at a regular store. He wanted Quercetin, saw palmetto, and Korean Red Ginseng. James has been doing a lot of reading about cures for cancer and alzheimers.

I wanted to get some more of the Keto Nut Granola I got at Costco the last time I was here so we headed for the nearest Costco on Baseline and Arizona Avenue. It took me awhile but I finally found what I was looking for back with the cereal. It's $12.99 for an average size bag. Yikes! I think this is the first time I've ever been in Costco and just bought one item. After Costco we headed for home through Payson and Heber.

We arrived in Vernon around 5:30. I settled down in the recliner to finish watching "Sandy Cove" a Hallmark movies starring Chad Michael Murray. James said he was going to go for a horsey ride. James wasn't gone very long. He came back and said he was feeling dizzy and sick. He went in and laid down for a couple of hours while I worked on my blog. I'm worried that James might have Covid. We were exposed on July 25th at the Peeler's.
