It was a beautiful day here in Vernon, sunny and the high was around 60.
James left for the Howard's around 9:30 and wasn't back until 1.
I took a carrot out this morning to feed Luna. When she saw me she whinnied. I think Whinny is going to be Luna's nickname.

Sheri said many of her co-workers got their government stimulus check. Since she didn't get hers  she went online to irs.gov and signed up for it. She told me I should do the same thing. I went on and had to wait for a few minutes. I kept getting the message, "status not available." James is going to talk to our accountant. Anthony says the stimulus money should come with our monthly social security money. That's not until next Wednesday. In the meantime I'm going to keep trying to get things going on the irs.gov site.

When James got home we went to town. James dropped me off at Walmart while he went to the UPS store to mail my books. James was supposed to go to Home Depot to get some lumber for the Howard's and to Circle K to get gas and watch the car. He was back at Walmart too soon to have done all that. I wondered why? He forgot his wallet.

James really needed the lumber for the Howard's so we went back to Home Depot and he used my credit card. The boards fit in my car but barely. They came right up to the console and I had to move my drink. We also went across the street to Circle K and got gas and a carwash.

On the way home I read from "Aunt Dimity and The Family Tree." It's getting good. During rest time back at home we watched, "Lark Rise to Candleford."

James went for a horseback ride and also went to feed the Howard's horses again. I spent the afternoon getting books ready to send in to Amazon.

This evening we had gospel study. We both studied from the Book of Mormon.

Jesus Christ, Judge
2 Nephi 2:10
And because of the intercession for all, all men come unto God; wherefore, they stand in the presence of him, to be judged of him according to the truth and holiness which is in him. Wherefore, the ends of the law which the Holy One hath given, unto the inflicting of the punishment which is affixed, which punishment that is affixed is in opposition to that of the happiness which is affixed, to answer the ends of the atonement-

Blogging early in the morning is the best way to get it done for me. At 8 o'clock this morning I tuned in to the book webinar hosted by Kathy and Kris. I don't pay much attention to the webinar on Thursdays but I always listen on Tuesdays because that is Kathy and Kris day. I always learn something from them.

Kathy said they are beginning to let books be sent in. Not all of them but some and that we should make a shipment and see which ones they will let be sent in. I did. I can send in 41 books. I still have 19 I can't send in. Out of the 60 books I ordered in March, that's where I stand. I don't know what to do with the books I can't send in. I will either list them merchant fulfilled and keep them, or I will try again next week to send them in.

I paid James's plumber using Zelle today. They would only let me send $5,000. I had to write a check and send it for the other $200.

James worked at the Howard's and I worked on my book shipment most of the afternoon. He said he talked to Tom today and that Jean might have to have exploratory surgery so they might not come back until Monday instead of on Friday as they planned. I asked what the surgery was for but James didn't know. He didn't get the details.

Because of going to the BYU channel on TV to watch conference I have picked up a couple of shows from BYU's lineup. Both of them are British, or at least they are supposed to be in England. One is Hetty Feather. It is only on once a week but I have it taped. The other is "Lark Rise to Candleford." It is on once a day and I am enjoying watching it. So is James. I love the characters and the old world charm of rural England.

James has misplaced his hearing aid. He thinks he may have lost it while riding the Cat last week, or even while riding Luna. I'm hoping it will show up.

I worked on my Book of Mormon study guide that I got from The Redheaded Hostess this evening.

We had rain, snow and sunshine today depending on the time and the window you happened to look out.

James went to feed the Howard's horses this morning, something he agreed to do while they were in the valley. Before coming home he went to Dollar General to get a birthday card for Alex and something for refreshments tonight for our "Come Follow Me" group. I had already told him I was going to make a Texas sheetcake but I guess he figured we might need backup. I did tell him to get some ice cream, which he did. He also got a no bake cheesecake box, and a box of brownies.

James worked upstairs today. He was going to work on taxes but he ended up scheduling concrete for the job and talking back and forth with Armando.

While James was working upstairs and I was at my computer working on books, Luna was outside rolling in the mud.
We are tempted to call her Winnie because whenever James goes out to feed her she "whinnies." If he is too slow she also paws the ground. We got a horse with some personality!

I had planned on making the Texas sheetcake early this afternoon until I got a text from Sister Goodman saying she had a Boston Creme poke cake she would like to bring. Thanks Barbara!

Because I knew we wouldn't be using the ice cream James bought for tonight's meeting I decided I would try it and see if it was any good. It was and it went well with the hot fudge sauce I had on hand.

Because I have been doing re-pricing and getting rid of old books, my IPS on Amazon went up from 405 to 507 points. IPS stands for Index Performance Score. Now if I could only sell more books.

Jared chose the topic of forgiveness for us to study this week. Here are the talks we will be listening to:

I read these talks and they are quite sobering and some of them have some very sad stories in them. One of the most difficult things to do, I think, in this life is to forgive someone who has wronged someone you love. I am still struggling with this. It can only be done over time and with the help of the Holy Ghost.

We had an enjoyable evening with the Goodman's and the Peeler's. We studied the lesson for Mosiah 1-3, had a good discussion, and then somehow James started telling stories about his grandpa Lambson. I had heard them but I guess the Peeler's and the Goodman's had not. Brother Peeler has ties to Ramah through his grandpa and he and Donna had been there recently.
The Boston Creme poke cake was delicious!
As they were leaving Brother Peeler asked if sometime James would tell stories about his crow. I am sure he would love to do that.

After everyone left James and I did the dishes and then watched the latest episode of "When Calls the Heart."
I finally figured out which input the TV needed to be on in order to get the satellite. I even called Brian and he went by Best Buy but they weren't open. He was going to go in and look at a TV like mine so he could tell me what to do. I am grateful for his concern and support. I am also grateful that I was able to figure it out on my own.

Sheri said Ben is still discouraged although his letter didn't really show it. He is having problems with his companion. He wants to talk to the President and see if he can go back to being just a regular missionary. We are all praying of him.
