True, enduring joy and eternity with those we love are the very essence of God's plan of happiness.

Today is Pierce's wedding day. I hope he is happy.

I got up this morning and worked on my blog. I finished posting through Friday and stopped. I took my last Benadryl this morning and my left hand started swelling up. My left foot is still swollen. That's how rheumatoid arthritis is, it hits on one side or the other. Last time it was my right foot and the right side of my face although it did carry over to my left. This time it's my left foot and left hand. After an hour or so my hand was so swollen that I couldn't bend my fingers to type. I was pretty miserable. James went off to work at Barbara's and I sat in the recliner in our bedroom and watched Christmas movies. He was supposed to come home around noon and we were going to go to town. When he returned I told him I was too miserable to go to town so he went by himself, again.

The Relief Society presidency is being released tomorrow and Tamara asked me over a week ago to type up the lesson schedule for the next six months. I still haven't done it. I was going to do it today but now I can't use my left hand.

When James returned he had a Walmart bag full of medicine for me. It looked like he went through the cold and flu aisle and bought one of everything, everything except Theraflu, which is my favorite cold medicine.

I ate my chicken Slinger and drank my Dr. Pepper and ate some hot and sour soup which tasted delicious this time, not too chili hot like last time. I felt better but I still didn't move off my recliner. James hurried to get ready for the Ward Missionary BBQ dinner our ward is having at the park tonight.  He invited Owen Taylor to come so he wants to be there in case he shows up.

James was gone less than an hour to the BBQ. He came back with a plate of food and a piece of pie. He ate the plate of food and I had the pie. He thought it was Eagle Brand pie but it was not even close.

I watched three new Hallmark Christmas movies:
1. "Noel Next Door"
2. "We Wish You a Married Christmas"
3. "We Need a Little Christmas"
They were all good but the last one was by far the best. The entire movie was about neighbors loving and serving each other. I went to bed feeling pretty good in spite of my swollen limbs.

So sad
