James left early this morning for the valley. Armando and his crew are pouring concrete on the two Chacon houses. James is going down to help and to get some money. Mr. Chacon is gone on vacation but his nephew can write James a check.
I worked on my blog this morning and then began to get ready for my 9:30 visitor.
One of the first things I did was feed Luna. I put on a pair of gloves, sunglasses and my jacket. I did not need the jacket, as it was nice and warm outside. The high today was 74.
Luna whinnied and started pawing. I took her a carrot and then went in the shed to get her alfalfa cubes. I filled the #10 can two and a half times and put the cubes in a large bucket to take to her. Her favorite food is oats which I will give her for lunch and dinner.
Maxine arrived around 9:30. I had my sewing machine set up on the dining room table. She brought me enough material to do six masks. She said they still need them in Whiteriver.
Maxine walked me through making the first mask and then she left. A little while after she left she called and said she had taken the elastic home with her by accident. That means I can't make anymore masks, at least today. I told her I couldn't come and get it until James returned from the valley with the car, which would be some time tomorrow.
Luna's lunch feeding consisted of oats, and two cans of alfalfa pellets. Of course she didn't even look at the pellets until she had finished the oats.
I like the series "Lark Rise to Candleford" so much that I purchased season 1 on Amazon Prime and began watching it on the TV. The picture is so much clearer than what is on BYU-tv which is not in HD. It was difficult for me to get very much else done because I watched several episodes.
James called me late in the afternoon and said the pour went well and that he would be coming home this evening. I am glad.
Luna enjoyed her evening meal of two and a half cans of pellets and some oats. She didn't get any exercise today because James wasn't here to ride her.
James brought me two green chili burros home with him. How thoughtful!
For my gospel study this evening I studied Emily's Inklings post about the new proclamation and an assigned conference talk and a couple of scriptures about the goodness of God.
