With reverence and gratitude, we as His Apostles invite all to know -as we do - that the heavens are open.

I worked on my conference notebook today. I read each talk from conference and then write down notes for each talk. It is quite a task but once it is done, it is done. Here is what a page looks like:

The blue notes are the ones I took while
listening to the talk for the first time. The rest
are notes I took after reading the talk.

James and Chuck visited Sister H. Gordon in our ward today. Someone gave her a building and they are going to help her stabilize it. James also brought back a book for me from the post office, one of the last ones I am going to order as I gear down in the book biz.

I got a text from Kim today about Brother Halverson's "Come Follow Me" YouTube channel. She really likes his insights but thinks he is a little long. I agree but I find him fascinating to listen to, not boring. He's no longer than a Hallmark movie and much more informative.

James invited me to go on a Razr ride this afternoon but I declined. I told him he should ride Luna instead, which he did. He has an elk hunt coming up and wants to do some scouting.

Charlie made some "monster" faces today. This is a video where she talks about her monster faces being "dangerous." When Kacey gets here for Thanksgiving she is going to help me figure out how to post videos on this blog. In the meantime here are a series of photos:

Restoration Proclamation
The earth will never again be the same, as God will "gather together in one all things in Christ" (Ephesians 1:10).

James finally got the camera charger he needed to charge the camera battery but now there are no elk. He isn't sure where they went. Maybe back up the mountain because there is no feed here since it has been so dry.

I listened to Brother Halverson's "Come Follow Me" lesson yesterday and today I listened to Book of Mormon Central, Teaching with Power, and Don't Miss This. I still need to study my Book of Mormon Study Guide but I think I have a pretty good grasp of this week's lesson. I also need to go over the lesson and write it down in my Sunday journal.

I felt like making chocolate chip cookies with pecans today, so I did. They were delicious! James liked them too but not quite as much as I did. I have been pondering, what is the right diet for me? I think I've found it.

James forgot to get horse feed yesterday so he had to go back to town again today. He forgot to tell me he was going to go to the Howard's when he was through in town. I began to wonder where he was when he wasn't back by dark. I actually fixed dinner, spaghetti, breadsticks and squash. When I called him he was just getting ready to leave the Howard's. When he got there he said Jean said to him, "Where's my buddy, meaning me." Jean had to go to the ER yesterday for her eye. It is bloodshot and bothering her and she doesn't know why.

James has to get up most mornings and fix the wire on the fence where the elk have torn it down. He has done that but didn't have to last night because there were no elk. Luna still got out. We think maybe she climbed the hill and found a spot up there. James will check it out. When the fence is working correctly maybe the elk won't knock it down. What is the point of having a fence if you can't keep your horse in?

James and I filled out our voting ballots today. While I was walking today I listened to Brother Lund's book, "The Second Coming of the Lord." I blogged Wednesday and Thursday of last week. I will only catch up as I do at least two posts every day.

Ben texted me today and said he had an indexed Book of Mormon for me the next time I came down. I am so excited!! Thank you Ben!

I ran off the programming guide for the 40 new Hallmark Christmas movies coming out this year. They start this Saturday!

The Savior teaches us how to feel peace and calm even when the winds blow fiercely around us and billowing waves threaten to sink our hopes.

Restoration Proclamation
P9 S3
We testify that those who prayerfully study the message of the Restoration and act in faith will be blessed to gain their own witness of its divinity and of its purpose to prepare the world for the promised Second Coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Today was a bit of a "down" day for me. I always feel a little low and slow after getting my infusion. James and I watched a Hallmark movie together and then read from our book, "Devil's Food Cake."
Before I went to Costco yesterday Trina told me about their delicious chicken street tacos in the ready-made section in the back. I got some and that's what we had for lunch. They were very tasty and all we had to do was heat up the chicken meat and the tortillas.

I did walk today. I also had to strip some of the polish off the wood floor that I put on Saturday and re-apply some more. That took a couple of hours.

James went to the post office and picked up the mail. I got some books and a map of the United States I ordered. It looks nice and fits perfectly on my whiteboard in the bedroom.

I got an updated health report from Kim today. Here it is:

I'm starting to get better. It's been an interesting week. I am at the Vitanya place now. Brian is starting today.
The fact that I was even able to be there on Sunday (Ben's mission report), and that I walked in by myself with no help means that the treatment is going well. I'm so excited. I have so much hope and excitement about it. And Brian got his scan tonight and is starting treatment tonight. I am excited for him too!
Last week when we did the scan I had 51 markers out of 106 that were not working correctly (these are all for sinus/ear/vertigo/vagus nerve, etc.)
This week I had 42 that were out. That means that with 1 week of treatment, 9 of those things are now working the way they should.
Things that have happened this week: the muscles in my neck and shoulder finally released and don't squeeze all the time. The tightness in my head especially at the temples, jaw and behind the left ear has let up a lot. I can breathe a lot easier out of my nose. The ringing in my left ear has died down. I still have it in my right, but it is quieter. No anxiety/panic attack feeling starting in the gut and rushing up to my head. No rise in heart rate and blood pressure for no reason. No migraine with aura at all this week. No squeezing and pain in my temples that makes me feel like it's cutting off oxygen to my brain. No lightheadedness. No feeling like I am going to start spinning at any moment. I can walk by myself without help! I am still a little off balance but it is not the same as the vertigo feeling!
I can sleep on my back again! No sleeping sitting up. I still have to prop up with pillows, but I can put my head down!!!
I left my house for the first time (other than doctor appointments). I was able to go to church and to Sheri's.
I'm so excited. I can't wait to see what this week brings.

We have been praying for Kim for so long now. It is wonderful that she is getting these results so quickly.

Before signing off I just have to say how much I LOVE the air pods that Sheri got me. No more getting the wire to my earphones caught on cabinet pulls!

Restoration Proclamation
P7 S2
Millions throughout the world have embraced a knowledge of these prophesied events.

Addy now has her drivers license which means she can drive herself to school and no longer has to ride the bus. I told her I was so happy for her. She seemed pretty excited!

I worked on my blog a while this morning and got to see Addy, Ruby, and Lola before they went to school. Rowan was already gone when I got up. James left around 9:30 this morning to run some errands and go over to the Chacon job. I left around 9:42 for my infusion. I packed up my car before leaving because I won't be coming back.

My first appointment at the Arizona Arthritis and Rheumatology Associates was with Edith, a physicians assistant. She is very friendly and chatty. I showed her James's truck when it burned. She asked where I lived and how the trip down was. When I was finished with Edith she took me down to the infusion center where Tiffany took blood and hooked me up to my Actemra medication. I was there early and so I was out by 11:30 instead of 11:45. I met James at the Olive Garden in Mesa for lunch. I had Zuppa Toscana soup, salad and breadsticks. I said goodbye to James and headed to Scottsdale to see Stacy at Lash Bomb.

Stacy worked on my lashes for a couple of hours and then we said goodbye and I headed for the Costco on Hayden and Raintree. I had a few items to get for the Grapp's. I also bought lots of Christmas ribbon, some street tacos James told me about, and enough other things to spend over $270. From Costco I headed south to Shea Blvd. and took Shea to the 87 which is the highway going to Payson.

I stopped at the McDonald's in Fountain Hills for a chicken sandwich, an Oreo McFlurry, and a diet Coke. It was somewhere between 7:30 - 8:00 when I got home to Vernon. James got home about an hour later.

After unloading the car and putting things away I turned on "Dancing with the Stars". I was anxious to see Derek and Hayley dance. They did not disappoint! They were incredible. Derek is now a judge after winning the mirror ball trophy six times. Hayley is his girl friend and was a dancer for several seasons on the show although she was never a pro. The rest of the show was meh as far as I was concerned.

I walked but only got a little over 5,000 steps and then read to James when he got home. So glad to be home!
